It is worth noting that every year entrance examination is conducted in Navodaya Vidyalaya for admission in class 6. This time this examination will be conducted on 13 December 2025. This examination will be held at various centers across the country and only those students can appear in it who are currently studying in class 5 in any government or recognized school. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti wants that talented children of rural areas should also get better education, that is why the application process has been made online so that students from any corner of the country can easily apply. Qualification – Master’s degree in Psychology (MA and MSc) from a recognized institute. And one year diploma in guidance and counseling. One year experience is also necessary.

Age Limit –28 years to 50 years. Age will be calculated from 1st June 2024.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has issued notification for the recruitment of 1616 candidates as TGT, PGT, Principal and other teacher posts in employment newspaper dated 02 July 2022. The online application form for this will be available on the official website from July 2. A total of 683 posts are for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), 397 for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), 181 for various categories of teachers (Music, Arts, PET Male, PET Female and Librarian) and 12 for Principal Posts.

NVS will conduct a Computer Based Test (CBT) across the country for the selection of candidates. However, the exam for principal posts will be conducted in Delhi NCR only. Those who qualify for the test will be called for interview round.

NVS Teacher Salary 2022
Salary: Salary ranges from Rs 78800 to Rs 209200 per month for the post of Principal, Rs 44900 to Rs 142400 per month for the post of TGT, Rs 47600 to Rs 151100 per month for the post of PGT. In other posts, salary will be available from Rs 44900 to Rs 142400 per month.

Talking about the age limit, then the maximum age limit for the post of Principal is 50 years. The maximum age limit for the post of PGT is 40 years. The maximum age limit for the post of TGT is 35 years. The maximum age limit for the post of Music Teacher is 35 years. The maximum age limit for the post of Art Teacher is 35 years. The maximum age limit for the post of PET is 35 years. The maximum age limit for the post of Librarian is 35 years.

Talking about the NVS Teacher application fee, those applying for the post of Principal will have to pay an application fee of Rs 2000. The application fee for applying to the post of PGT is Rs 1800 and for applying for the post of TGT and other teachers, the application fee will be Rs 1500.
