The 800 KM journey will be completed in 13 hours

According to a PTI report, the New Delhi to Srinagar Vande Bharat Sleeper train will cover the 800 km journey in 13 hours. The train will depart from New Delhi Railway Station at 7 pm and reach Srinagar at 8 am. This is the first time that rail connectivity will be started between the capital and the Kashmir Valley.

Fare for all coaches of the train?

According to media reports, Vande Bharat Sleeper train will have 11 AC 3-tier (3A) coaches, 4 AC 2-tier (2A) coaches and 1 First (1A) AC coach. Talking about the ticket price of this train, the fare of 3AC coach has been fixed at Rs 2000, 2AC coach at Rs 2,500 and 1AC coach at Rs 3,000.

The train will pass through 7 major stations

The Vande Bharat Sleeper train from Delhi to Srinagar will pass through 7 major stations. After Delhi, this train will stop at Ambala Cantt Junction, Ludhiana Junction, Kathua, Jammu Tawi Station, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Station, Sangaldan Station, Banihal Station and Srinagar Station.

You will have to change trains at Katra

Let us tell you that the Vande Bharat Sleeper train connecting New Delhi to Kashmir will not go directly to Srinagar. This train will go only till Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station. Here all the passengers will have to board another Vande Bharat train. This train will connect Katra to Srinagar.

When will the train start?

Recently, this train has been successfully trialled. Till now, news was coming that Vande Bharat Sleeper Train will get the green signal in January itself. Prime Minister Narendra Modi can inaugurate this train at any time.
