Google has shut down GPay. This app has now been removed from the Play Store as well. The company will now offer mobile payments services in the Google Wallet app. Users will be able to check their balance and transfer it to their bank account by visiting the Google Pay website after this month.

Google has shut down its online payment app GPay. This app has now been removed from the Play Store as well. Google has shut down its GPay service in the US. The company has taken this decision after the discontinuation of P2P (peer-to-peer) payments in the US. Google will now change its strategy and offer mobile payment services in the Google Wallet app. Now users will be able to avail services like tap to pay and pay online at stores from Google Wallet itself.

There will be no problem in shifting to Google Wallet service.

Existing users of GPay will not face any problem in shifting to Google Wallet service. According to the company, the payment options linked to GPay will be automatically transferred to Google Wallet. However, the popular P2P payment for bill splitting and sending money to friends will no longer be available in the US. Users in the US are seeing the message ‘The Google Pay US app is no longer available. You can still tap to pay using the Google Wallet app’ when they open the Google Pay app.

You will be able to check your balance and transfer it to your bank account.

According to a report by 9to5 Google, users will be able to check their balance and transfer it to their bank account by visiting the Google Pay website after this month. Google’s entire focus is now on Google Wallet. The company is working with the target of completely digitizing the physical wallets of users.

GPay will not be shut down in India

Google has not revealed the real reason for shutting down GPay. Experts believe that the company has done this to make the user experience simpler and better. Also, by shutting down GPay, Google is also trying to reduce the development cost of its service. The good thing is that Google Wallet will offer better integration with other Google services. Let us tell you that the GPay app has been shut down in the US, but it will continue to work as before in India and Singapore.

New Delhi. There are crores of LIC policy holders in the country and there is a news of relief for all of them. Actually, ACESO, an organization that provides easy solution service to insurance policy holders, has launched ALIP (Assignment of Life Insurance Policies).

With its help, policyholders who are considering policy lapse or surrender will get great relief. Because, life insurance policy holders will be able to easily get the surrender value of their policy with the help of this platform. ALIP will provide other facilities apart from surrender value. In which it will tell the policyholders about the benefits related to life coverage year after year from the start of the policy till the maturity date. At the same time, in case of death of the policyholder, all the information and services related to the policy will be provided to the nominee.

Payment in 48 hours, how?

What sets ALIP apart from receiving surrender value from the insurance company is its faster and better payment process. Claim consideration is usually started within 48 hours after all the required documents for policy surrender are completed. Apart from this, efforts are made to do the entire documentation and KYC process online, which reduces the hassle for both the policyholder and the LIC agent.

Ranjit Kulkarni, Head of Research at ACESO, said, “LIC issues about 80% endowment policies. However, 50% of these policies are surrendered before maturity or lapse. He said that ALIP gives LIC insured people a simple option to surrender their policies before time.

The post Big relief for LIC policy holders!
