According to a statement issued by the company, the new flight service has been launched especially keeping in mind the upcoming festival and holiday season, to provide passengers from Bengaluru and surrounding areas with direct and convenient travel to Thailand without any hassle, reports PTI.

Introductory offer fares starting from ₹9,000

Air India Express has introduced special introductory fares to celebrate the launch of this new route. The fare from Bengaluru to Bangkok (one-way) is ₹9,000. Similarly, the fare from Bangkok to Bengaluru (one-way) is ₹8,850, while round-trip fares start at ₹16,800. Passenger bookings are now open and available on the airline’s official website, airindiaexpress.com, mobile app, and major online travel portals.

What are the flight timings

The Bengaluru-Bangkok flight will depart daily at 11:00 AM (IST) and arrive in Bangkok at 4:45 PM (IST). The return flight from Bangkok to Bengaluru will depart at 5:45 PM (IST) and arrive in Bengaluru at 8:30 PM (IST). This new direct connectivity is a great opportunity for tourists, family travelers, business travelers, and those planning holidays to Thailand. This Air India Express service will provide passengers with time-saving and affordable travel.

Flights from Dehradun to Bengaluru have also started.

Earlier, Air India Express launched its direct flight service from Dehradun to Bengaluru last Monday. The direct air service between Dehradun and Bengaluru by Air India Express has provided a great convenience to the youth, entrepreneurs, IT professionals, students and tourists of Uttarakhand. Let us tell you, Air India Express became a member of IATA last month, making it the fourth Indian airline to become a part of the global airlines association. The International Airport Transport Association (IATA) represents around 350 airlines, which handle about 80 percent of global air traffic.

Indigo Thailand Direct Flights: Timetable of direct flights to Krabi

Flight number 6E1085 will depart from Mumbai at 4:15 am daily and arrive in Krabi at 10:10 am. Flight number 6E1086 will depart from Krabi at 9:45 pm daily and arrive in Mumbai at 12:40 am. Flight number 6E 1083 will depart from Bengaluru at 3:30 pm daily and arrive in Krabi at 8:45 pm. Flight number 6E 1084 will depart from Krabi at 11:35 am daily and arrive in Bengaluru at 1:45 pm.

Indigo Thailand Direct Flights: Book tickets through website and apps

These IndiGo flights are operating daily from March 30, 2025. Passengers can book their tickets through IndiGo’s official website www.goindigo.in or mobile app. Vinay Malhotra, Global Sales Head, IndiGo said, “We are delighted to launch daily direct flights from Mumbai and Bengaluru to Krabi, Thailand, this is an important milestone in promoting India-Thailand bilateral relations.”

Vijay Malhotra further added, “These convenient flights allow our customers to enjoy this resort city and its local sights and beautiful scenery. IndiGo operates over 95 flights every week from India to Thailand and offers direct connectivity to Bangkok, Phuket and now Krabi as well.”

The airline’s move will boost air connectivity in the state of Karnataka. Officials said the airline’s weekly flights from Karnataka have increased from 380 last year to over 475 this season.

2 new flights started from Bengaluru

Air India Express said in a statement, “As part of this expansion, two new direct flights are being introduced from Bengaluru, which include Bengaluru to Amritsar (domestic) and Bengaluru to Dammam (international) routes. From December 27, 2024, four weekly flights will operate between Bengaluru and Amritsar, while from January 1, 2025, three weekly flights will operate between Bengaluru and Dammam.”

Booking has started

According to the statement, bookings for these routes have now started through the airline’s website and other major booking channels. Apart from these new routes, Air India Express has also recently started its services on Bengaluru to Indore and Bengaluru to Sri Vijayapuram (Port Blair) routes.

The airline has also increased the daily number of its Bengaluru-Abu Dhabi flights. Flights to Patna are scheduled to begin from January 15, 2025.

415 flights per week from Bengaluru

Ankur Garg, Chief Commercial Officer, Air India Express, said, “The significant increase in air connectivity from Karnataka reflects our commitment to the region. This growth aims to meaningfully connect Karnataka to major cities in the country, West Asia and South East Asia. Bengaluru is our largest domestic station, from where more than 415 flights are operated every week connecting 27 domestic and two international destinations.”
