Giving information, Pankaj Kumar Singh, Chief Public Relations Officer of Railways, said that traffic and power blocks have been given due to engineering work on bridge number 110 between Kanpur Bridge Left Bank-Kanpur Central of Lucknow Division of Northern Railway. Due to this, the route of some trains has been changed.

Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Express running from Gorakhpur on 21, 22, 23, 26, 28, 29, 30 March and 02, 04, 05, 06, 09, 11, 12, 13, 16, 18, 19, 20, 23, 25, 26 and 27 April 2025 will be run via Lucknow-Alamnagar-Moradabad-Ghaziabad instead of Lucknow-Kanpur Central-Ghaziabad. Under this change, the train will not stop at Kanpur Central station.

The route of 12595 Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Express running from Gorakhpur on 20, 24, 25, 27, 31 March and 01, 03, 07, 08, 10, 14, 15, 17, 21, 22, 24, 28, 29 April 2025 will be run via Lucknow-Alamnagar-Moradabad-Ghaziabad instead of Lucknow-Kanpur Central-Ghaziabad. Under this change, the train will not stop at Kanpur Central station.

The route of 22539 Mau-Anand Vihar Terminal Express running from Mau on 21, 25, 28 March and 01, 04, 08, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25 and 29 April 2025 will be run via Lucknow-Alamnagar-Moradabad-Ghaziabad instead of Lucknow-Kanpur Central-Ghaziabad. The route of 22412 Anand Vihar Terminal-Naharlagun Express running from Anand Vihar Terminal on 20, 23, 27, 30 March and 03, 06, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27 April 2025 will be run via Ghaziabad-Moradabad-Lucknow instead of Ghaziabad-Kanpur Central-Lucknow. Under this change, the train will not stop at Kanpur Central station.

The route of 12003 Lucknow Junction-New Delhi Express running from Lucknow Junction from 20 March to 30 April 2025 will be run via Lucknow Junction-Moradabad-Ghaziabad instead of Lucknow Junction-Kanpur Central-Ghaziabad. Under this change, the train will not stop at Kanpur Central, Phaphund, Etawah, Tundla and Aligarh stations.

The route of 15025 Mau-Anand Vihar Terminal Express running from Mau on 23, 25, 30 March and 01, 06, 08, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29 April 2025 will be run via Lucknow-Moradabad-Ghaziabad instead of Lucknow-Kanpur Central-Ghaziabad. The route of 15026 Anand Vihar Terminal-Mau Express running from Anand Vihar Terminal on 21, 24, 28, 31 March and 04, 07, 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28 April 2025 will be run via Ghaziabad-Moradabad-Lucknow instead of Ghaziabad-Kanpur Central-Lucknow. Under this change, the train will not stop at Aligarh and Kanpur Central stations.

New timetable for trains from January 1, two Vande Bharat Expresses also to be included

Every year, the railways releases a new timetable for trains from July 1, but this time it did not happen. After this, a new timetable was proposed for the first week of October, but now it has also been postponed.

The timings of trains will change from January 1. The new timetable of trains which was to be implemented in the first week of October has been extended by the railways for three months once again. Bareilly-Mumbai Vande Bharat Sleeper, Saharanpur-Prayagraj Vande Bharat Express will also get a place in the new timetable. Apart from this, the timings of Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will also be changed.

Every year, the railways releases a new timetable for trains from July 1. This time, no new timetable was released in July. During this time, two Vande Bharat Expresses were also adjusted via Bareilly. Four new trains were also started operating on the Pilibhit-Mailani-Lucknow rail line.

Vande Bharat is also included in the new timetable

. Delays have increased due to adjustment of new and festival special trains in the old timetable. Bareilly-Mumbai Vande Bharat Sleeper via Bareilly three days a week and Saharanpur-Prayagraj Vande Bharat Express six days a week are also proposed. These trains are also to be given place in the new timetable.

Railway is reviewing the operation of Amrut Bharat Express, Vande Bharat Express, Vande Bharat Sleeper trains in all zones and divisions. Ways are also being found out to deal with the delay of trains. Due to the review, new timetable was not issued first on July 1 and later on October 1. Now it will be implemented from January 1.

Timings of trains cancelled for three months will also change

; Railway has cancelled 14 regular trains from December 1 to February 28 due to fog season. The number of trips of 28 trains have been reduced. Regular operation of all these trains will now start again from February 1 to 7 on the new timetable. Timings of new trains adjusted in the old timetable will also be changed.

Izzatnagar division’s PRO Rajendra Singh said that this time the new timetable of trains will be implemented from January 1. Operation of some other trains including two Vande Bharat trains via Bareilly is also proposed. Many trains are being run by adjusting them in the old timetable. This time the new timetable will be implemented from January 1.
