How much toll will have to be paid?

According to reports, a single trip by car and jeep from Hadiganabele to Sundarpalya will cost ₹185 as toll, while the return trip will cost ₹275. In the opposite direction, a single trip will cost ₹190. A monthly pass for 50 trips will cost ₹6,105 one way and ₹6,260 in the opposite direction.

Toll rates vary according to the vehicle and direction of travel. Light commercial vehicles (LCVs), light goods vehicles (LGVs) and minibuses will be charged ₹295 for a one-way trip from Hedigenabele to Sundarpalya and ₹445 for a round-trip. From Sundarpalya to Hedigenabele, the rates are slightly higher at ₹305 and ₹455, respectively. Heavy vehicles like trucks and buses will be charged ₹620 for a one-way trip from Hedigenabele and ₹930 for a round-trip. When coming from Sundarpalya, the rates increase to ₹635 and ₹955.

Where will tolls be collected?

There will be four toll plazas at Hedigenabele, Agrahara, Krishnarajapura and Sundarpalya. Toll will be charged from the motorists at these places. Two-wheelers are strictly prohibited on this expressway which is designed for up to 120 kmph. But due to incomplete fencing, many bikers sneak in, raising safety concerns. The NHAI is now seeking permission to deploy home guards at key locations and toll plazas to prevent such violations till the complete fencing is completed.

Now the expressway has increased by 24 kilometers

Earlier, drivers were using the expressway from Sector 65 of Faridabad, but now it has started from Mithapur in Delhi. Hence, the expressway has been extended by 24 kilometres.

It is also claimed that the section from Delhi’s DND flyover to Mithapur will be opened by March next year. After this, this expressway will be completed. From here, the journey to Dausa in Rajasthan via Sohna will become fast.

Now you will have to pay 150 rupees instead of 50

Now, for a car passing through this toll, one will have to pay Rs 150 per side, whereas earlier it used to cost Rs 50. The monthly pass for a car which was made for Rs 1650 till now, will now be made for Rs 5030.

It is worth mentioning that last year, NHAI had opened the 26 km stretch of the expressway from Sector-65 to Nuh for vehicular movement. Seven months ago, in April, toll rates were increased at Kiranj toll plaza.

In this regard, NHAI Project Director Dheeraj Singh said that more people will now be able to use the expressway. Its length has also increased. Therefore, the rates have been revised. Now drivers will have to pay more toll. The rates will be applicable from Tuesday night.

Entry-exit points of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Link Road

According to NHAI officials, six entry and exit points are open for vehicles near Sector 65, near Sector 2, near Sector 8, near Sector 14, near Sector 17 and near Sector 30 Police Line. Commuters can use these entry-exit points to get to the main road and travel at high speed on the expressway.
