There is good news for the people living in Noida, Greater Noida and Greater Noida West. Preparations are going on in full swing to connect Delhi Metro’s Botanical Garden Metro Station to Greater Noida, Greater Noida West and Bodaki.

Along with this, a new route is also being considered from Noida Sector 142 to Botanical Garden. Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) is seriously considering all these routes. NMRC has taken a step towards starting metro services on these new routes and has also issued a tender to select a detail design advisor.

A meeting has been held with the Centre for the project connecting Sector 142 to the Botanical Garden

According to a report by Live Hindustan, so far only the Bodaki route has received approval from the central government. A meeting has already been held with the central government for the new route connecting NMRC’s Sector 142 to DMRC’s Botanical Garden metro stations. Now in the next phase, this project will be proposed in the cabinet. After getting approval from the cabinet, work can be done on starting this project. However, a meeting has not been held yet for the Noida-Greater Noida West route and it is believed that it may take a long time.

Delhi Metro goes up to Electronic City in Noida

Apart from NMRC, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) also provides services in Noida. The Blue Line of Delhi Metro runs from Dwarka Sector 21 to Electronic City located in Noida Sector 62. This line passes through important places like Noida Sector 16, Sector 18, Botanical Garden, Noida City Center, Sector 52. Sector 51 Metro Station of Noida Metro Rail Corporation can be reached from Sector 52 Metro Station located on the Blue Line of Delhi Metro. The route of Noida Metro Rail Corporation starts from Sector 51 itself and goes to the Depot Station via Sector 142, Knowledge Park 2, Pari Chowk.
