Public Holiday: Schools will remain open for three days a week…

Due to the festive season, three major festivals will be celebrated next week. Due to which all government offices, banks and schools-colleges will remain closed for three days. This week, children will go to school for only three days. Let us tell you that holiday orders have been issued on 26, 27, 28 August. Due to which children will go to school only on Monday, 25th, Friday, 29th and Saturday, 30th. Similarly, government offices and banks will also work for only three days.

When is which festival…

Next week, three major festivals Teej festival, Ganesh Chaturthi and Nuwakhai festival will be celebrated. Hartalika Teej will be celebrated on the 26th, Ganesh Chaturthi on the 27th and Nuwakhai festival on the 28th. The Chhattisgarh government has issued a new order declaring August 28 as a local holiday. The General Administration Department has declared August 28 as a local holiday on the occasion of Navakhai. In this regard, the Deputy Secretary of the General Administration Department has issued an order.

Ashtami holiday cancelled…

Along with the declaration of a holiday on August 28 on the occasion of Navakhai, the state government has cancelled a local holiday. The government has cancelled the local holiday declared on the occasion of Durga Ashtami. Durga Ashtami is on September 30. In the list of holidays released for 2025, a local holiday was declared on September 30, but now this holiday has been cancelled.

]]> The Uttar Pradesh government has declared a public holiday in the state on October 11 on the occasion of ‘Navmi’. A senior official gave this information here on Thursday. According to the information, all government offices and other establishments will remain closed on October 11.

Gram Director Shishir said in a statement, “Taking note of the demand of various organizations, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday directed to declare October 11 as a public holiday except essential services on the occasion of Navmi.” Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh said that all schools under the Basic Education Department will remain closed across the state. The minister posted this information on his ‘X’.

He said, “Under the leadership and inspiration of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, integrated efforts are being made to empower half the population in the state. On the auspicious occasion of Mahanavami, a holiday will be observed in all the schools under the Basic Education Department in Uttar Pradesh.” The minister also wished everyone a Happy Mahanavami.

Earlier, there was a holiday only on 13 October.

Due to the confusion about Navdurga Ashtami and Mahanavami, the government had declared Mahanavami holiday on Saturday, 12 October. However, Navami is on 11 October. In such a situation, different employee organizations were pleading with the government. In such a situation, now people in the state have got three days off. After the announcement of the holiday by the Yogi government, all the employees have expressed their gratitude to Yogi Adityanath.

The secretariat employees were the first to demand a holiday on the occasion of Ramvanami on 11 October from the Yogi government. Apart from this, according to the gazette issued by the government, there will be a three-day holiday on Diwali as well. There will be a public holiday on 31 October Diwali, 1 November Govardhan Puja and 2 Bhaiya Dooj and Chitragupta Jayanti.

Big relief has been given to the employees in Bengal. Holidays have been announced for the next year 2024. State government employees will get the benefit of 14 days long leave during Durga Puja. 45 days of holidays have been included in the holidays list for 2024 by the Bengal government. Its notification was issued on Friday. Which does not include weekends.

Officials indicated that the number of holidays may also increase as the office will be closed on the day of voting for the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024. A total of 45 days of leave has been announced. Republic Day will be celebrated on Friday 26th January while Vivekananda Jayanti will be celebrated on Friday 12th January. 1st January is considered to be Monday.

Declaration of holiday

As per the notification issued, offices will remain closed from October 7 to October 21 for Durga Puja. The same Kali Puja holiday will be from 31st October to 4th November. A long holiday is expected in March also. Holi holidays have been scheduled for Tuesday, Monday, 2 days before Good Friday.

In such a situation, 24 public holidays have been announced by the Bengal government for the year 2024.
