In view of the huge number of devotees coming to visit Ram temple in Ayodhya, the temple administration has decided to extend the timings of darshan. Now devotees will be able to have darshan of Ramlala till 10 pm. Earlier this time was only till seven in the evening. Darshan will be held in the morning shift from 7 am to 11.30 am.

According to official sources, about five lakh devotees are camping in Ayodhya to visit the temple and the arrival of devotees is continuing. Ayodhya district administration has appealed to the devotees to come to Ayodhya after 10-15 days and have darshan of Ramlala.

It is noteworthy that more than eight thousand policemen are keeping an eye on the system. Director General of Police (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar and Principal Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad are also camping in Ayodhya to keep an eye on the situation.

The government has issued new instructions regarding the Ration Card in the country’s capital Delhi. People who have not taken ration for a long time will not be given the benefit of ration (Delhi Ration). The Food Department has asked all its District Circle Officers to do house-to-house verification ( Verification of Ration Card ) and then send the report to the government. After this, the ration card will be canceled for those people, who are not taking ration for a long time.

The purpose of removing the ration card of people who have not taken ration for a long time is to give the benefit of ration to those people who are eligible and their ration card has not been made eligible. If official sources are to be believed, there are more than two lakh people who are not taking advantage of ration and those who have taken it once in a year, did not come again to take ration.

The government is preparing the data of people who have not taken ration for a year or who have taken ration only once or twice. Food Supply Department officials will ask such people the reason for not taking ration. If the reason is found correct, then the name will not be struck off, but if any discrepancy is found then the ration card will be cancelled. For this, the officials will go door-to-door and verify the people.

17.83 lakh people are taking advantage of ration

At present, ration cards have been issued for 17.83 lakh families in Delhi, in which 72.77 lakh people are being given the benefit of ration. In an order issued by the commission, it has been said that from September 2021 to October 2022, those who have not taken ration. Officials verify by going to their house.
