BSNL can soon give good news to its users. BSNL is reportedly preparing to introduce new recharge plans, which will be bundled with popular OTT platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Just like you get subscriptions to Netflix, Amazon Prime and many other OTT platforms with Airtel and Jio recharges, BSNL is also preparing for its users.

Currently BSNL is the only telecom operator in India that does not offer these streaming services to its users with its recharge plans. Recently, during the AskBSNL event, a BSNL user asked a senior official of the company whether BSNL will bring any recharge plan that will provide subscription to OTT apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime?

In response, a top company official said that BSNL is indeed offering some recharge plans with OTT offerings, but at present, they are being evaluated before introducing plans bundled with Netflix and Amazon Prime in particular.

Netflix is considered the most premium OTT (over-the-top) platform in the country as its subscription price is much higher than other platforms. In contrast, Amazon Prime is a more affordable subscription that offers Prime Reading, Prime Shopping, Prime Video, Prime Music, and more. It is the most popular in India.

In this regard, the company has informed that the new e-SIM facility is also expected to be launched around March 2025. Let us tell you that in the last four months starting from July, BSNL has added more than 5.5 million new customers. After Jio and Airtel recharges became expensive, many users have moved towards BSNL. Let us tell you that the company is rapidly expanding its 4G network and for this it is installing new towers.

The good thing is that NASA+ is an ad-free platform and users will not have to see unwanted advertisements in between video content. If you love space then this platform is no less than a boon.

OTT app was teased in July itself

NASA started teasing its OTT streaming app NASA+ in January this year itself. This digital platform has been specially designed by the agency for video content related to science and space. NASA has already been publishing videos to give information about its different missions and space and now these videos will be combined together.

All types of content will be available to watch

All kinds of entertaining and informative content will be seen in different categories on the new OTT platform. Apart from this, documentary series like Artemis: 1, Other Worlds: Planets and First Light will be available to watch for free on this streaming platform. Most of the content listed on this platform is currently in English and Spanish languages, but soon this content will be available in other languages as well.

You can book the connection by dialing 60008-60008 and through WhatsApp. Apart from this, connection can also be taken from jio.com or nearest Jio store. If connection is available in your area, Jio will contact you to confirm the connection. Along with the connection, you will get the latest Wi-Fi router, 4K set top box for TV and voice activated remote.

Let us tell you that installation charge of Rs 1000 will have to be paid for air fiber. Customers can book it for Rs 100. This amount will be adjusted in the bill. To book air fiber, you will have to go to the official website of Jio. All plans are available in 6 and 12 month options. If you take a 12 month plan then you will not have to pay installation charge of Rs 1000.

In which cities will this service be available?

The company has made Jio Air Fiber service live in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Pune. In Air Fiber plan, the customer will get two types of speed plans, 30Mbps and 100Mbps.

More speed will be available in this plan.

Customers who want more internet speed can choose one of the ‘Air Fiber Max’ plans. The company has launched three plans in the market ranging from 300 Mbps to 1000Mbps i.e. 1Gbps. Speed of 300 Mbps will be available for Rs 1499. You can enjoy 500Mbps speed for Rs 2,499 and 1Gbps speed for Rs 3,999.
