Ayushman Card: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to distribute Ayushman cards to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana-Ma Amrutam (PMJAY-MA) in Gujarat today. According to the information, Prime Minister Modi will attend a program being organized in Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat, through video conference at 4 pm. Through the program, PM Modi will also interact with three beneficiaries.

Know what is Ayushman Bharat Scheme

Talking about the Ayushman Bharat scheme, under this the facility of free treatment is provided to the poor by the government. To take advantage of this scheme, the government provides an Ayushman card to every beneficiary. Through this card, beneficiaries are able to get their treatment up to Rs 5 lakh free in empaneled hospitals.

Getting an Ayushman card is not as difficult a task as people think. For this, you must first check the eligibility. After checking the eligibility, you reach your nearest public service center where you can apply through the concerned officer. Let us discuss here that under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, people from the weaker sections are given benefits by the government. In this, landless person, any disabled member in the family, person from rural area, people belonging to scheduled caste or tribe, who do not have pucca house. Or the central government gives the benefit of Ayushman card to the daily wage earners, destitute, tribal and transgender people.

Now use your email id and password to login here.

Now enter the Aadhar number, thumb impression needs to be verified on the next page.

Now click on the option of ‘Approved Beneficiary’.

Now you will see the list of approved golden cards.

Find your name in this list and click on confirm print option.

Now you will see CSC wallet, enter your password in it.

Now enter the pin here and go to the home page.

Now you will see the option of Download Card.

From here you are able to download your Ayushman card.

more than 50 lakh beneficiaries

Ayushman PVC cards (made from polyvinyl chloride material which can be easily carried) are to be distributed to over 50 lakh beneficiaries under PMJAY-MA scheme in Gujarat. The Centre’s PMJAY scheme to provide health facilities to the economically weaker sections was integrated with Gujarat’s ‘Mukhyamantri Amrutam’ (MA) and ‘Mukhyamantri Amrutam Vatsalya’ (MAV) health schemes in 2019. As a result of this all the beneficiaries of state schemes are eligible to get PMJAY-MA card.

The Gujarat government said that after the integration of the two schemes, PMJAY-MA cards were issued to 1.58 crore beneficiaries in Gujarat. Since September 2021, more than 50 lakh cards have been issued under the leadership of the Chief Minister. These beneficiaries will be given newly printed Ayushman PVC cards. According to the government website, health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh per family is provided under the world’s largest health insurance scheme ‘Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY’.
