]]> PNB FD Rates 2023: Punjab National Bank i.e. PNB, one of the big banks of the country, has given good news to its customers. The bank has increased the interest rate on selected FDs of less than Rs 2 crore by 50 basis points or 0.50 percent. However, the interest rate on FDs of some tenures has also been reduced. The new interest rates have come into effect from January 1, 2024.

Interest increased on FD for which tenures?

The bank has increased the interest on FDs of 180 days to 270 days from 5.5 percent to 6 percent. The bank has increased the interest on FDs of 271 days to less than one year by 0.45 percent to 6.25 percent. Earlier it was 5.80 percent. The interest on 400 days FD has been increased by the bank from 6.80 percent to 7.25 percent. At the same time, the bank has reduced the interest on FD of 444 days from 7.35 percent to 6.80 percent.

The bank is giving interest ranging from 4 percent to 7.75 percent to senior citizens. At the same time, the bank is giving interest ranging from 4.3 percent to a maximum of 8.05 percent to very senior citizens.
