Under this change, the train will not stop at Kanpur Central station.

The route of 12003 Lucknow Junction-New Delhi Express running from Lucknow Junction from 20 March to 30 April 2025 will be run via Lucknow Junction-Moradabad-Ghaziabad instead of Lucknow Junction-Kanpur Central-Ghaziabad. Under this change, the train will not stop at Kanpur Central, Phaphund, Etawah, Tundla and Aligarh stations.

The route of 15026 Anand Vihar Terminal-Mau Express running from Anand Vihar Terminal on 21, 24, 28, 31 March and 04, 07, 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28 April 2025 will be run via Ghaziabad-Moradabad-Lucknow instead of Ghaziabad-Kanpur Central-Lucknow. Under this change, the train will not stop at Aligarh and Kanpur Central stations.

No entry at the station before time

Ban on walking on foot over bridge

In view of the incident that happened earlier, the police has also banned walking on the foot over bridge without any valid reason. In fact, standing on the foot over bridge without any reason causes congestion and delay.

Temporary pavilion built outside the station

To control the crowd coming to the stations, a temporary pandal as well as a waiting area has been created outside the station. Along with this, patrolling has also been increased on all platforms, so that passengers will not be allowed to sit on the platform without any valid reason.

Vaishnav promised to halve the parking fee and build a rest house at the station to provide shelter during harsh winters and monsoons.

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav also made the announcement while discussing with the auto drivers present at the railway station. The Railway Minister said, if auto drivers face any kind of problem, they can contact on 9717633061. Their problem will be resolved on this number. Apart from this, the Railway Minister has also announced a big relief in parking charges at Delhi Railway Station. Earlier the fee for taxi drivers was Rs 1200, but now they will have to pay Rs 400, while auto drivers had to pay Rs 700 earlier, but now they will have to pay only Rs 200.

The Railway Minister made some more important announcements for the convenience of passengers and employees. He said that rest houses will be built to avoid cold and rain. Also, more than 50 rest rooms will be built for railway porters. Apart from this, medical facilities will be improved and health services will be provided under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Education facilities will also be provided for the children of employees in railway schools. The Railway Minister said that both the porters and passengers working at the railway station will be taken care of equally. He said that these changes and facilities have been made to improve their work so that everyone gets more facilities and they can provide their services without any hassle.

In view of the crowd of passengers going home on Diwali and Chhath, many changes have been made at New Delhi Railway Station. Giving information about the changes made regarding entry at the station, Northern Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Himanshu Shekhar said that to control the crowd and for the convenience of the passengers, arrangements have been made to give entry from gates according to the platform.

Separate entries will be given for reservation and general ticket passengers. According to the new rule, platform number 16 entry from the foot over bridge has been closed. Passengers with reservation tickets and passengers catching trains from platform number 16 will get entry only from gate numbers 7 and 10 from Ajmeri Gate side circulating area.

Those with general tickets will be able to enter from here

A separate gate has been reserved for unreserved passengers travelling on general tickets from New Delhi Railway Station. A green corridor has been created for them at the station. These passengers will be able to enter through Gate No. 12 via the green corridor from Ajmeri Gate.

Entry for platforms 1 to 15 will be available from here

If your train is arriving on any platform between platform 1 to 15, then you will get entry from gate number 8, 9 and 11. These passengers will not be able to enter from other gates. At the same time, direct entry from DMRC Metro Skywalk to Foot Over Bridge 2 at New Delhi Railway Station has been closed.

Passengers catching trains from New Delhi should take care of these things

If you are going to enter from Ajmeri Gate of New Delhi Railway Station, then keep some things in mind. For example, if you are going towards platform number 16 from the foot over bridge, then please note that this route has been closed. Those who have reservation tickets for platform number 16 will get entry only from gate number 7 and 10. Those with general tickets will get entry only from Gate number 12 from Green Park. Entry for platform 15 to 1 will be from gate number 8, 9 and 11.

Reached railway station on time

If you are going to the railway station to catch a train on Diwali or Chhath, it is better to take extra time with you. Considering the security check, luggage check and crowd at the railway, it is better to reach an hour before the train time. To control the crowd during the festive season, even platform tickets are closed so that the crowd can be controlled.

The same train will leave from Delhi after a short time and will reach Bhopal at 10.45 in the night. This train will stop at Agra at 4.45 for 5 minutes.

Vande Bharat will run at a maximum speed of 160 km per hour on this route and its fare will be 10 to 15 percent costlier than Shatabdi trains.

In the general budget from the central government, a target has been set to run about 400 Vande Bharat trains in the country for the next 3 years.
