As a result of this decision, the dearness allowance in the fifth pay scale has increased from 427 percent to 443 percent and in the sixth pay scale it has increased from 230 percent to 239 percent.”

In this cabinet meeting, the cabinet has approved the proposal for amendment in the Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1996. After this amendment, the employees will be eligible to get the benefit of full pension on retirement after completing 25 years of service. According to the press release, before the amendment in this rule, it was mandatory for government employees to serve for 28 years to get full pension.

The family will get allowance after the death of the pensioner-

Apart from this, now 75 year old pensioner or family will be able to take 10 percent additional pension allowance. According to the new decision of the government, on the death of the pensioner, his married disabled son or daughter, eligible members earning up to Rs 12,500 per month will also be able to get the benefit of family pension. The notification of the new amendment of the government will be effective from April 1, 2023.

Gehlot had announced in the budget-

The cabinet also took several other decisions related to promotions, special pay and designations. Another proposal for amendment in the Rajasthan Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2017 was approved. This will increase the special pay of the personnel.
