										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h3><strong>Bank Holidays 2025: If you have any important work related to the bank, then finish it without delay. There are going to be many holidays in banks between 12th and 26th January. This includes second and fourth Saturdays as well as every Sunday holiday.</strong></h3>
<p>Apart from this, banks will also remain closed due to regional festivals in various states. In such a situation, checkbook, passbook, or other banking work may be affected. However, digital banking services like UPI, mobile and internet banking will continue as before.</p>
<p><strong>National and Regional Holidays</strong></p>
<p>The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) releases a list of holidays every month. It includes national and regional holidays. All banks across the country remain closed on national holidays, while regional holidays apply only to the respective states or regions.</p>
<h5><strong>January 2025 Bank Holidays List :</strong></h5>
<ul>
<li><strong><span>January 12 (Sunday):</span></strong><span> Weekly holiday and Swami Vivekananda Jayanti.</span></li>
<li><strong><span>January 13:</span></strong><span> Lohri (Banks closed in Punjab and other states).</span></li>
<li><strong><span>January 14:</span></strong><span> Makar Sankranti and Pongal (in many states including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat).</span></li>
<li><strong><span>January 15:</span></strong><span> Thiruvalluvar Day (Tamil Nadu) and Tusu Puja (West Bengal, Assam).</span></li>
<li><strong><span>January 16:</span></strong><span> Ujjavar Tirunal.</span></li>
<li><strong><span>January 19 (Sunday):</span></strong><span> Weekly holiday.</span></li>
<li><strong><span>January 22:</span></strong><span> Imoin.</span></li>
<li><strong><span>23 January:</span></strong><span> Birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.</span></li>
<li><strong><span>January 25:</span></strong><span> Fourth Saturday.</span></li>
<li><strong><span>26 January:</span></strong><span> Republic Day (Holiday throughout the country).</span></li>
<li><strong><span>January 30:</span></strong><span> Sonam Losar (Sikkim).</span></li>

<p><strong><span>What types of services will be available during bank holidays?</span></strong></p>

<p>You will not have any problem using some services during bank holidays, as online services will continue as normal. You can avail the following services:</p>
<p><strong>Net Banking:</strong> You can use net banking through the bank&#8217;s website or mobile app. Facilities like money transfer, bill payment, balance check are available in it.<br />
<strong>Unified Payments Interface (UPI):</strong> You can transfer money instantly through UPI. This facility is very safe and easy with apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm.<br />
<strong>Mobile Banking</strong> : Through the bank&#8217;s mobile app on the smartphone, you can avail services like fund transfer, mobile recharge, utility bill payment.<br />
<strong>ATM Services:</strong> You can withdraw money at ATM, check balance, get mini statement. Also, facilities like cardless cash withdrawal are also available in ATM.</p>

<p><strong>Get information from local bank branches</strong></p>
<p>To avoid any inconvenience, customers are advised to check the holidays from their local bank branch in advance as the list of holidays may vary for different states in India.</p>
<p>If you have any bank related work, then finish it early to avoid any hassle during the holidays. Online services will remain active even if the bank is closed, so you can do your work easily.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>The month of April has started. In such a situation , the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of Bank Holidays in April 2023 . These holidays include both national and regional holidays.</strong></p>
<p>This banking holiday will be different in different zones. In such a situation, it becomes very important for all bank customers to stay updated with the list of bank holidays. The list of holidays in the month of April is quite long. There will be total 15 days bank holiday in April.</p>
<p><strong>The bank remains closed on every Sunday as well as on the second and fourth Saturdays.</strong></p>
<p>Explain that banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month along with every Sunday. Due to the annual closure of banks on April 1, except for Aizawl, Shillong, Shimla and Chandigarh zones, banks in all other zones were closed.</p>
<p>On the other hand, due to Sunday on April 2, there will be a holiday in the banks. Banks in Hamadabad, Aizawl, Belapur, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur and Ranchi zones will remain closed on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, the next banking holiday.</p>
<p><strong>There will be holiday on these days also</strong></p>
<p>On April 5, the banks of Hyderabad zone will remain closed on the occasion of Jagjivan Ram Jayanti. Banks will remain closed all over India except Agartala, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Jaipur, Jammu, Shimla and Srinagar on the occasion of Good Friday on 7th April. April 8 is the second Saturday of the month, due to which there will be no work in banks across the country on that day.</p>
<p>Due to Sunday on April 9, banks across the country will remain closed. After this, banks will remain closed all over India except Bhopal, New Delhi, Raipur, Shillong and Shimla on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti on April 14. April 15 will be a bank holiday in Agartala, Guwahati, Kochi, Kolkata, Shimla and Thiruvananthapuram on account of Vishu, Bohag, Bihu, Himachal Day, Bengali New Year.</p>
<p><strong>There will be a holiday between April 16 and April 22</strong></p>
<p>On April 16, due to Sunday, there will be a holiday in banks across the country. Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Kashmir on April 18 on the occasion of Shab-e-Kadra. After this, banks will remain closed in Tripura, Jammu-Kashmir and Kerala on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr on April 21. Due to the fourth Monday of the month on April 22, there will be no work in banks across the country.</p>
