If you also travel in the train and are a woman, then a new guideline has been issued by the Railways, in which women will get a big benefit. Rules have been made by the Railways for many classes including senior citizens.

Guidelines issued

Railway makes new rules from time to time to prevent crimes against women. Indian Railways has issued guidelines to Railway Security Force officials to create a database of incidents of crime against women during the last year.

Strict vigil will be kept on women coaches

Railway officials have ordered to keep a close watch on women coaches. Along with this, full attention will also be paid to the safety of women traveling in other coaches. Keeping an eye on the suspects and along with this there will be frequent visits to sensitive places.

Permission will not be given without ID No employee should be allowed to go to trains and railway premises without identification. Along with this, orders have been given to keep a close watch on people watching porn through free WiFi internet services.

CCTV feeding will be monitored

Yards of stations or pits or surrounding railway area should be kept clear of unnecessary vegetation which may provide cover for hiding of anti-social elements. Apart from this, CCTV feeding should be monitored in the control room at all times.
