According to the proposal, the fare of ordinary buses can be reduced by seven percent and the fare of AC buses can be reduced by ten percent. In fact, in February this year, it was decided to increase the fare of roadways buses by 25 paise per kilometer. After which the number of passengers from roadways buses started decreasing.

Let us tell you that due to this decision to increase the fare, the roadways suffered a loss of about Rs 77 crore in the last six months. MD Masoom Ali Sarwar took the decreasing number of passengers seriously and held the regional officers responsible and warned of improvement. The committee that has been formed under the leadership of GM Operations will soon submit its proposal to the MD.
