1. Jump onto rrbapply.gov.in.

2. Look for the CEN 08/2024 city/date link.

3. Punch in your application number and password.

4. Download the slip immediately—don’t wait until the day before.

A Quick Note for SC/ST Applicants

If you applied under a reserved category, your free travel pass should show up on the same portal. It usually activates the moment your city slip is ready. Just remember to carry your original caste certificate when you board the train, or the TTE won’t let it slide.

Don’t Forget the “4-Day” Rule

One thing that always trips people up: your actual Admit Card (e-call letter) won’t be available until four days before your exam. So, if your city slip says you’re testing on February 5th, you won’t be able to get your final hall ticket with the exact center address until February 1st.

Age Limit (as of Jan 1, 2026)

• General/EWS: 18 – 33 years (Revised to 36 years in some regional notices due to a one-time COVID relaxation).

• OBC (Non-Creamy): 3 years relaxation.
