Money Transfer Wrong account: Nowadays, the trend of transferring money and transactions online has increased very fast. However, where this has increased the facilities of the people a lot, it is also seen many times that people mistakenly transfer their money to another account.

However, after transferring money to the wrong account, the biggest question in our mind is whether our money can be returned or not? Now the State Bank of India (SBI) has advised the customers in this matter.

SBI customer had to face the problem

Recently a customer of State Bank of India (SBI) faced a similar problem. After which he complained about this on the official Twitter handle of SBI. Tagging SBI, the customer wrote that TheOfficialSBI I have mistakenly sent my money to a wrong account number. I have given all the details to my branch as told by the helpline. Still my branch is not giving any information regarding reversal.

What did SBI say

In response to this tweet, SBI said that in cases where a customer has sent money to a wrong account, the home branch will initiate the follow up process with other banks without any penalty. Please note that if the wrong beneficiary account number is mentioned by the customer, the home branch of the customer will initiate the follow up process with other banks without any financial liability. In case you are facing any issue in this regard at the branch, please lodge a complaint under https://crcf.sbi.co.in/ccf. And tell the details of your problem in the given comment box. The concerned team will look into it.

What advice did SBI give

While advising its customers, SBI said that we request the customers to check all the information entered correctly before doing digital transactions. If any mistake is made by the customer, the bank will not be responsible for it. It is important to double check the beneficiary account number and IFSC code before making any payment. This can help in avoiding any kind of mistake.

The post Money Transfer Wrong account: Money has been sent to the wrong account, then do this work, SBI advises customers through tweet first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

SBI Debit Card Charges: If Rs 206.50 has been deducted from your State Bank of India account, then you are not the only person from whose account this amount has been deducted. This has happened with many customers. In fact, State Bank of India deducts Rs 147, 206.5 or Rs 295 from the savings accounts of consumers holding various debit / ATM cards.

If you are also an SBI customer and use its banking services extensively, then once in a year some deduction is made from your savings account. Often people start circling the banks regarding this deduction.

State Bank has also deducted Rs 206.5 from your savings account, so you must be wondering why the bank deducted this money without you doing any transaction.

From 147 to 295 rupees have been deducted from the account of many SBI account holders. This happened because State Bank of India levies different charges from customers having Yuva, Gold, Combo or My Card (Image) Debit/ATM cards.

SBI charges Rs 175 as annual maintenance fee from people using any of these Debit/ATM cards including Yuva Debit Card, Gold Debit Card, Combo Debit Card, or My Card (Image) Debit/ATM Card.

At the same time, 18% GST is also applicable on this deduction, so Rs.31.5 (18% of Rs.175) GST has been added to the amount, therefore, with Rs.175 + Rs.31.5, the amount becomes Rs.206.5. Now you must have fully understood that why and how State Bank of India deducted Rs 206.5 from your savings account?
