										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>The huge earning scheme of the country&#8217;s largest lender State Bank of India is going to be closed. The name of this special scheme is &#8216;Amrit Kalash&#8217;. Which was launched as a fixed deposit.</strong></p>
<p>The last date for closure of this scheme has been extended several times. According to the SBI website, this 400-day fixed deposit offers 7.1 percent interest for regular customers and 7.6 percent for senior citizens. The last date to invest in Amrit Kalash is December 31, 2023.</p>
<p>According to the SBI website, in this specific tenure scheme of 400 days, investors get 7.10 percent interest which is applicable from April 12, 2023. Whereas senior citizens get interest at 7.60 percent. This scheme will remain valid till 31 December 2023. Investments in SBI Amrit Kalash FD Scheme can be made through branch, INB, YONO channels, and SBI Special FD Scheme also has the facility of premature withdrawal and loan against deposit options.</p>
<p><strong>SBI FD Interest Rates</strong></p>
<p>State Bank of India offers interest rates between 3 per cent and 7 per cent (except Amrit Kalash) for amounts less than Rs 2 crore for general citizens. The interest rates offered to senior citizens are between 3.50 percent and 7.50 percent.</p>

<p><strong>Payment of interest and what is the facility</strong></p>
<p>Interest on special FD scheme is paid on maturity. Interest, after deducting TDS, will be deposited in the customer&#8217;s account. According to the SBI website, the interest on premature withdrawal will be 0.50 per cent to 1 per cent less than the rate applicable at the time of deposit for the deposit tenure with the bank or 0.50 per cent or 1 per cent less than the contracted rate, whichever is lower.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>State Bank of India (SBI) has extended its &#8216;Amrit Kalash&#8217; special FD scheme for one and a half months for the common people. SBI has extended the Amrit Kalash scheme till August 15, 2023.</p>
<p>Earlier, after restarting this scheme in April 2023, the last date was extended to 30 June 2023. If you have not yet been able to take advantage of this scheme of SBI, then you can now take advantage of the opportunity of good earning by investing in this scheme till 15th August.</p>
<p>According to the SBI website, 7.10% interest is being given to regular customers and 7.6% interest rate is being provided to senior citizens under the 400-day &#8216;Amrit Kalash&#8217; special FD scheme. This special FD scheme of SBI also includes premature withdrawal and loan against deposit options. Means you can also take a loan against this Amrit Kalash special FD.</p>
<p>If you want to invest in SBI&#8217;s Amrit Kalash scheme, then you can invest till 15 August. After this, new customers will not be able to invest in it. To invest in this scheme, you can book through SBI Branch, Internet Banking or SBI YONO App.</p>
<p><strong>keep these things in mind</strong></p>
<p>Interest will be paid to you only after completion of maturity in SBI&#8217;s Amrit Kalash scheme. On the other hand, if you want to withdraw before the time, then you can get 0.50% to 1% less interest than the rate applicable at the time of deposit. That is, you will get 1 percent less interest. TDS will be deducted as per income tax rules. In this situation, the customer has to fill Form 15G/15H while filing ITR to request exemption from tax deduction.</p>
<p><strong>Know how much interest will be received?</strong></p>
<p>State Bank of India offers interest rates between 3% and 7% for amounts below Rs 2 crore for general public and interest rates for senior citizens range between 3.50% and 7.50%. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>SBI FDs Interest Rate 2023: Customers can invest in retail term deposit (FDs) schemes of State Bank of India (SBI) for a period ranging from 7 days to 10 years. SBI is getting 7.10 per cent annual interest for regular customers and 7.6 per cent for senior citizens on deposits of less than Rs 2 crore.</strong></p>
<p>Apart from this, SBI is offering a new scheme Sarvottam (SARVOTTAM) in retail term deposit, which is for 1 year and 2 year tenure. The best scheme is non-callable term deposit. That is, pre-mature withdrawal cannot be done in this scheme. Whereas, in the best scheme, to get 40 basis points more interest, the deposit should be more than Rs 15 lakh and less than Rs 2 crore.</p>
<p>According to the SBI website, customers can make deposits in Sarvottam (Non-Callable) Domestic Retail Term Deposits for tenures of 1 year and 2 years. In this, regular customers will get 7.1 per cent interest per annum and senior citizens will get 7.6 per cent per annum interest on 1-year deposit.</p>
<p>At the same time, for a period of 2 years, the regular customer will get 7.4 percent annual interest and senior citizens will get 7.90 percent annual interest. The interest rates of this scheme of the bank are applicable from 17 February 2023.</p>
<p><strong>How much interest on ₹ 20 lakh deposit</strong></p>
<p>According to SBI FD Calculator, depositing 20 lakhs for 2 years in the best scheme will fetch Rs 23,15,892 on maturity. In this way, in 2 years, only interest will earn Rs 3,15,892. Whereas, senior citizens will get Rs 23,38,728. In this, there will be an income of Rs 3,38,728 only from interest.</p>
<p><strong>SBI increased deposit rates in February</strong></p>
<p>SBI increased the interest rates on Fixed Deposits (FDs) of different maturities last month. SBI has increased interest rates by up to 0.25 per cent on deposits of less than Rs 2 crore. The new deposit rates of the bank (SBI FD Interest Rate 2023) have come into effect from 15 February 2023. Along with making loans costlier on behalf of banks, interest rates on deposits are also being increased. Earlier, SBI had increased the interest rates on FD on 13 December 2022.</p>
