]]> State Bank of India has also opened the investment opportunity for NRIs (NRIs invest in SBI Amrit Kalash) in Special Fixed Deposit Scheme Amrit Kalash. The bank has also increased the interest rate on this special FD scheme for NRI investors and has also extended the investment deadline. Domestic and NII investors can also earn profits by investing money in SBI’s Amrit Kalash FD scheme.

The country’s largest government bank State Bank of India has extended the deadline for investment in the most popular Special Amrit Kalash Deposit Scheme (SBI Amrit Kalash Deposit Scheme) till June 30, 2023. Investors can invest less than Rs 2 crore in this FD scheme with a tenure of 400 days.

Interest rate on SBI Amrit Kalash Deposit

SBI’s Amrit Kalash Special Deposit Scheme was earlier available for investment from February 15, 2023 to March 31, 2023. According to SBI’s website, the interest rate on the 400-day special FD scheme Amrit Kalash has been increased to 7.10% for ordinary citizens and NRI investors. Whereas, if senior citizens invest in it, then they will be given 7.60 percent interest rate.

SBI Domestic FD Interest Rates

State Bank of India offers interest rates between 3% to 7% to regular citizens for tenures ranging between 7 days to 10 years. The interest rate offered under SBI V-Care Deposit Scheme for Senior Citizens ranges from 3.5% to 7.50% with an additional premium of 50 bps.

Mode of payment of interest to investors

Interest is paid to the investors of SBI Amrit Kalash at monthly, quarterly and half-yearly intervals. On maturity of SBI Amrit Kalash, the interest amount after deducting TDS will be added to the customer’s account. Premature and loan facilities are also included in Amrit Kalash Deposit.
