In Farrukhabad , Uttar Pradesh, schools run by the Basic Education Council will have winter vacation from 31 December to 14 January. All schools from class 1 to 8 will remain closed. This order will be applicable to all council and recognized schools of the district run by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council. A public holiday has also been declared on the occasion of Christmas on 25 December.

Holiday details in bank and LIC branches

In the holiday schedule released by UP Bank Employees Union, December 25 has been declared a public holiday. Apart from this, there will be a holiday on the last Saturday of the month i.e. 28th and Sunday 29th December. Apart from 25th December, Life Insurance Corporation of India branches will remain closed on 21st and 22nd December. Similarly, it will also remain closed on 28th and 29th December. LIC branches have a 5-day working week.
