Share Market: SEBI is thinking of bringing a system where investors will be allowed to trade shares in a regulated way after the closure of the IPO and till the listing period.

Share Market: Market regulator SEBI plans to launch a platform where shares can be bought or sold even before they are listed. Giving information about this in a program today, SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch said, “Investors remain interested in shares from the time they are allotted to the time trading begins.

During this time, if investors want to trade, they should be given a chance to do so legally.” Trading in IPOs before listing After the shares are allotted to investors and before their listing on the stock exchange, trading continues in the grey market. Madhavi says that a platform should be created for investors interested in such trading, where they can continue it regularly instead of doing it informally. Regulated trading of IPO shares

He said in a conversation during the program that even though trading in the market has not started, but allotment means that investors have become entitled to those shares. At present, the shares are kept frozen in the demat account till listing, so that trading of unlisted shares can be stopped. Now under this new system, after the IPO shares are transferred to the demat account, their trading will be allowed till listing.

SEBI took this step because of this

SEBI has taken this step to crack down on irregular trading in the gray market. In the last few years, there has been a surge in the number of IPOs. The atmosphere of the stock market was also bustling at the beginning of the year. In the first two weeks of the year, many companies launched their IPOs, while there are many more companies in the queue.

What is the gray market?

Let us tell you that the gray market is an unofficial and unregulated market, where shares of companies bringing IPOs are bought and sold. Here trading takes place outside the rules of SEBI. In such a situation, SEBI is not responsible for any fraud with you in the grey market.

Stock market regulator SEBI has revised the time limit for credit rating agencies by introducing compliance deadlines in ‘working days’ instead of ‘days’. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in a circular announced changes in the rules for CRAs aimed at standardizing the rating process and publishing protocols.

These changes have been made based on the recommendations of a working group on credit rating agencies. The working group had highlighted the challenges arising from the existing timelines, especially on non-working days.

“One of the recommendations of the CRA Working Group on Ease of Doing Business relates to amendment in the approach for specifying timelines from ‘days’ to ‘working days’,” Sebi said.

Under the revised rules, credit rating agencies are required to issue a press release on rating actions within seven working days of the occurrence of an event, which was earlier seven calendar days. Similarly, the timeline for review of ratings in cases of delay in debt servicing has been adjusted from two calendar days to two working days. Also, Sebi has extended the timeline for marking the rating as ‘issuer not cooperating’ if the non-default statement or ‘NDS’ is not submitted for three consecutive months to five working days instead of seven calendar days.

Let us tell you that the Securities Exchange Board of India issues new guidelines from time to time to maintain transparency in the stock market and protect the interests of investors. Apart from this, SEBI also takes action to impose fines on brokers or big companies carrying out illegal activities in the stock market. Recently, in the case of front running, SEBI has imposed fines on many big investors and brokers, and has also banned them from working in the stock market.

New Delhi. There is good news for small investors. Actually, LIC Mutual Fund plans to introduce a small amount Systematic Investment Plan (SIP). The company plans to start a daily SIP of Rs 100, while the current limit for the fund house is Rs 300. The company’s MD and CEO RK Jha gave this information.

This decision has come at a time when market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is advocating small SIPs so that investors’ participation is higher. Recently SEBI Chairperson Madhavi Puri Buch talked about micro-SIP.

Daily wage labourers will also be able to take advantage of the stock market boom.
Speaking at an event organised to launch the NFO on manufacturing fund in Mumbai, RK Jha said that the AMC is working with registrar KFintech Services. LIC Mutual Fund plans to reduce the current limit of minimum SIP amount to Rs 100 per day and Rs 200 for monthly SIP. He said that this move will help the fund house reach those sections of the society which have not benefited from the stock market boom.

LIC Mutual Fund will increase AU

Jha further said that the fund house is aiming to increase its asset under management (AUM) from Rs 35,000 crore to Rs 65,000 crore by the end of this financial year and to Rs 1 lakh crore by the end of FY 2025-26.

What is SIP?

SIP is the easiest way to invest in mutual funds. Under SIP, the investor invests a fixed amount at regular intervals. A fixed amount is deducted from your bank account at regular intervals and invested in SIP.

New Delhi. As soon as the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections started and the trends started coming, there was a stampede in the stock market.

The situation was such that the Sensex was trading at a decline of more than 5 percent for the first time after the Corona period, while the Nifty also fell by more than 5 percent. The possibility of lower circuit in the market has also become strong. In such a situation, market regulator SEBI has decided to stop trading for some time. However, this will happen only when a lower circuit is imposed in the market.

Market regulator SEBI has issued a proper timing, which tells when the trading in the market will be halted. During this time, there will be no buying and selling of shares. If a lower circuit is applied today, i.e. on June 4, then the trading in the market will be halted twice, while today the market will close about an hour before time.

When will trading not take place?

Trading in the stock market will be stopped thrice today, out of which it will be closed on the third time. As per SEBI’s timing, if the first 10 percent lower circuit is hit, the trading in the market will stop at 1 pm. It will remain closed for about 45 minutes. Then the trading will resume at 1.45 pm. If the lower circuit is hit even after this, then the trading will again be stopped for 15 minutes between 2 to 2.30 pm.

Market to close after 2.30 pm

After stopping trading twice, finally the market will be closed about an hour earlier today. If a lower circuit is applied for the third time as well. This is being done for the safety of investors. According to SEBI, there will be no trading in the market after 2.30 pm on June 4. SEBI’s intention is to save investors’ money from sinking, because lakhs of crores of rupees have been lost due to the continuous fall in the market today.

What is the math of lower circuit in the market?

If Nifty falls by 2326 points, then a lower circuit will be applied. At 12.27 pm, it was trading at a drop of 1,898 points. A lower circuit is applied on a drop of 10 percent i.e. 2326 points. After this, a lower circuit will be applied on a drop of 15 percent i.e. 3489 points and then a drop of 20 percent i.e. 4653 points. All these figures are for Nifty.
