The companies which are included in these are pre-qualified manufacturers. Its names are Alstom, Siemens, Titagarh Wagons, Crompton and Greaves, Medha Servo Drives and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). Out of these, BHEL is the only company which is government.

Let us tell you that this is the first time that the entire train is being made from outside only. Indian Railways has already made train coaches, goods coaches and engines from outside manufacturers. These companies have been given a blue print of the technology of Vande Bharat train.
