SpiceJet airline has scheduled flight operations from Jaipur to Prayagraj for one month. Regulatory agency DGCA has given permission to SpiceJet airline to operate this flight. This flight will operate daily from Jaipur. The flight will start from January 12, which will operate till February 10. With the direct flight, devotees will be able to reach Prayagraj directly in just 1 hour 15 minutes of flight time.

78 seater aircraft will fly between Jaipur and Prayagraj

SpiceJet airline will operate a 78-seater aircraft between Jaipur and Prayagraj. Let us tell you that earlier Alliance Air had also released a schedule for running a direct flight from Jaipur to Prayagraj. However, instead of running daily, Alliance Air’s flight will run only 1 day a week. Alliance Air’s flight will go to Prayagraj every Friday.

Daily direct flight for Maha Kumbh

• Flight SG-2963 will depart from Jaipur at 7:05 am
• The flight will reach Prayagraj airport at 9 am
• On return, flight SG-2964 will depart from Prayagraj at 9:30 am
• The flight will reach Jaipur airport at 11:15 am
• Flight 9I-322 will depart from Jaipur at 6:05 pm
• The flight will reach Prayagraj airport at 7:55 pm
• This flight will operate from 10 January to 21 February
• It will be operated only 1 day a week, every Friday

Indigo said in a statement that Indigo’s special flight to bring back Indian citizens from Bangladesh took off from Dhaka to Kolkata on Tuesday.

An Air India official said the chartered flight operated by an A321 Neo aircraft departed from Dhaka on Tuesday night and brought 205 people, including six children and 199 adults, to India on Wednesday morning.

An official aware of the developments said Air India operated the special flight at a very short notice despite infrastructure challenges at the airport in Dhaka. He said there were no passengers on board the flight that took off from Delhi.

Flights operated to bring back Indian citizens

At the same time, IndiGo said in a statement, “After the temporary closure of Dhaka airport, IndiGo operated special flight 6E 8503 from Dhaka to Kolkata on August 6, 2024. This flight was operated to bring back Indian citizens from Bangladesh.”

Indigo brought 200 passengers

A source aware of the matter said that more than 200 people were brought from Dhaka to Kolkata by a special IndiGo flight. The airline also said that flight operations between India and Dhaka will resume on Wednesday and it has contacted all the affected people, as well as offered them alternative travel arrangements.

How many flights fly to Dhaka

IndiGo operates one daily flight to Dhaka from Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai, and two daily flights from Kolkata. Air India will resume its two daily flights between Delhi and Dhaka from Wednesday. On Tuesday, the airline had cancelled its morning flight to the Bangladesh capital but the evening flight departed on time. Vistara will also operate flights to Dhaka as per schedule from Wednesday.

Vistara operates daily flights from Mumbai to Dhaka, while it operates three flights a week from Delhi. On the other hand, IndiGo usually operates one flight each from Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai to Dhaka, while it operates two flights from Kolkata.
