Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai on Wednesday announced a 4 percent increase in dearness allowance (DA) for state government employees. After this, the total DA of state government employees has increased to 50 percent. State employees will get the benefit of dearness allowance from October 1.

What is the detail

Talking to reporters in Raipur, CM Sai said, “There is a cabinet meeting today at 11:30 am. Our government has decided that all state employees are currently getting 46 percent DA, we are increasing their DA by 4 percent. From now on, they will get 50 percent DA.” The Chhattisgarh Chief Minister’s Office said that the revised 50 percent dearness allowance will be effective from October 1. After this announcement by Vishnu Dev Sai, about 4 lakh employees and more than one lakh pensioners of the state will be directly benefited. Let us tell you that earlier this month, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence.

Central employees also got good news!

Even before the festival of Dhanteras and Diwali, the Modi government has given a gift to millions of employees of the country. The Union Cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the decision to release DA on Wednesday. Although the Union Cabinet has taken this decision for central employees, but as soon as the green signal is received from the Center, the announcement of increasing DA will be made in all the states of the country. Along with increasing DA by 3 percent, the Union Cabinet has also announced to give three months’ arrears to the employees.

Let us tell you, NPS is a retirement plan. It is run through the government organization PFRDA. People from government as well as private sector can invest in this.

What is eNPS?

eNPS is a digital platform through which Central, State Government employees as well as employees of government related institutions can open their NPS account. Any government employee can open his/her ENPS account in two ways. First – Through Aadhaar online and offline KYC. Second- Through PAN card along with other KYC documents.

What will be the benefit of eNPS?

PFRDA has stated many benefits of the eNPS platform.

Onboarding of government employees will be easier than before.

Through this, the nodal officer will be able to do verification easily.

Through eNPS, the work of the nodal officer will become easier and as it is paperless, it will also take less time.

In this, registration can be done only by esigning through OTP.

Due to digitalization the cost of opening an NPS account will reduce.

Due to online process, PRAN will be generated on time and due to this, we will be able to ensure contribution on time. This will increase your chances of getting higher returns.

Due to online process, the possibility of cancellation will also reduce.

This will reduce logistics costs. In physical form, the forms are first submitted to the nodal officer by the subscriber. After this the nodal officer submits it to CRA-FC.

There is good news for the employees-pensioners of Punjab. After Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, the old pension scheme can be implemented in the state soon.

The Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab is contemplating about this, the Chief Secretary is exploring the possibility regarding this. This has been confirmed by the Education Minister of the state, Gurmeet Singh Meet Hare.

Punjab Education Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hair says that the issue is under consideration of the Punjab government. The Chief Minister has already directed the Chief Secretary of the State to look into the possibilities of restoring the old pension. Every promise made by the state government to the people is being fulfilled. Apart from this, the promises which were not fulfilled are also being fulfilled, such as one MLA, one pension etc.

Earlier, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had tweeted that the Punjab Government is considering to bring back the Old Pension System (OPS), I have spoken to my Chief Secretary and asked him to study about its implementation.

We are committed to the welfare of our employees. Now on his decision, Delhi CM and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal also tweeted that very good! a great decision. All government employees across India want the old pension scheme to be restored.

Let us inform that recently the Hemant Government of Jharkhand has approved the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) while implementing the old pension scheme. The old pension scheme in the state was discontinued on 1 April 2004 and it was replaced by the National Pension System (NPS). If the old pension is restored in the state, it will be the fourth state after Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. Where will the old pension system be.

DA Hike Delhi: The government of Delhi has given a big gift to its employees before Diwali. In the meeting of the Delhi government, DA i.e. dearness allowance has been increased by 4 percent.

In Delhi, the state government led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has followed in the footsteps of the central government. It has announced an increase of 4 percent in the Dearness Allowance of all its government employees.

Government order issued

The Delhi government has issued an order regarding this gift given to the employees of the state government before Diwali. According to an official order, the Finance Department of Delhi has also sent the details of hike in Dearness Allowance to their respective departments and autonomous bodies as per the rates revised by the Central Government.

Karnataka had given good news

It is worth noting that earlier the state government of Karnataka had also increased the dearness allowance of its employees. Recently, an increase of 3.75 percent was approved in the dearness allowance of the employees of the Bomai government of the state. At present, the employees of Karnataka government get dearness allowance of 27.25 percent of their basic salary, which has increased to 31 percent.

Center took the decision last month

Last month, on September 28, in the meeting of the Union Cabinet, it was announced to increase the dearness allowance at the rate of 4 percent to the central government employees and pensioners. Then Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that the Central Government employees and pensioners will be entitled to the increased amount of DA and DR from July 1, 2022. At the same time, according to the order of the government, under this, dearness allowance (DA Hike News) and relief installment at the rate of four percent will be released for all central government employees and pensioners (7th Pay Commission Latest News). This item will put an additional burden of Rs 12,852 crore on the central exchequer every year.

DA increased in Rajasthan too

Just as the central government had announced a 4 percent increase in dearness allowance for its employees, on the same day the Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan had also approved a four percent increase in dearness allowance for the employees and pensioners of the state of Rajasthan.
