BSNL has announced that this 5G service is currently in the soft launch phase and has not been launched commercially yet.

In a recent update on its X handle, BSNL India shared that its CMD, A Robert J Ravi, has inaugurated the Quantum 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) service in Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana. The company is planning to expand the service to other select cities in the country soon, allowing users to benefit from superfast 5G internet. With BSNL Q-5G FWA, customers can enjoy high-speed internet.

1 lakh new towers

To expand its network coverage, BSNL has decided to install 1 lakh new 4G and 5G mobile towers, which will be subject to the approval of the Union Cabinet. Last year, BSNL had promised to install the same number of towers and so far more than 70,000 towers have been activated. Once the installation of these towers is completed, the company is set to significantly improve connectivity.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has signed a contract with Backhaul Digital Technologies Private Limited to provide super fast internet to the passengers, in which this company will lay fiber optic cable on 700 km track of Delhi Metro including the airport line, after which the passengers will get the experience of excellent internet facility inside Delhi Metro.

First you will get fast internet on these lines

According to the information given by DMRC, the fiber optical cable will first be laid on the Pink and Magenta lines and passengers will first get fast internet service on these lines. Let us tell you that this initiative of DMRC will not only benefit the metro passengers but will also help in the smooth roll out of 5G service in Delhi-NCR.
