According to reports, the countries where the price of the plan has been reduced by the streaming platform include Middle Eastern countries Iran, Libya, Jordan and Yemen, European countries including Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Venezuela, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand , Philippines and Latin America etc. But the prices have not come down in America, Canada and most of the European countries.

The report says that the price cut varies from country to country, but the discount for the basic tier range is between 20% to 60%. Through this, the aim of Netflix (Netflix cuts subscription costs) is to attract more and more subscribers worldwide.

Kali ni, dropping down is good news ✅ Starting today, our Basic Plan in Malaysia is now RM28 per month for both new and existing members. pic.twitter.com/lcqMpHDJW1

— Netflix Malaysia (@NetflixMY) February 21, 2023

Netflix has informed about this by tweeting on its social media in Malaysia. In this tweet, the company has said that starting today, our Basic plan in Malaysia is now RM 28 per month for both new and existing subscribers. Earlier the price of this plan was RM 35 per month i.e. approximately Rs 653.

However, there has been no change in the subscription price in India. Last year, Netflix cut the price of monthly subscription plans in India by 18% and up to 60.1%.
