According to the Meteorological Department, the weather conditions will remain similar till the end of the month. Due to clouds and lack of rain, the temperature is continuously increasing. Especially in the next three days, the temperature is likely to increase further.

According to the Meteorological Department, a western disturbance is reaching the mountains, but its impact will be limited to the upper areas of Jammu and Kashmir. Its impact will not be much visible in the plains. However, due to the change in wind direction, the temperature will increase and the mercury will continue to rise till the middle of the week, but then there may be a slight drop in the temperature towards the end.

Rainfall is likely in these states

due to the influence of Western Disturbance, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh and upper parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from this, light to moderate rain is also possible in coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep and interior Tamil Nadu. Light rain is likely in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Northeast India.
