										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>IMD Alert: These days, there is severe cold in various parts of the country and a sharp drop in temperature is being seen. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has informed about the activation of 2 western disturbances, due to which there will be heavy rain, fog and cold wave across the country in the next few days. Within the next 24 hours, an alert has been issued for fog in 11 states, cold wave in 4 states and heavy rain in 8 states. Apart from this, rain is also expected in Delhi-NCR this weekend, which can increase the cold further.</p>
<h3><strong>Effect of western disturbance</strong></h3>
<p>According to the Meteorological Department, two western disturbances are becoming active from January 29, due to which there is a possibility of rain and snowfall. The first disturbance will show its effect in the western Himalayan region from January 29, while the second disturbance will be active on February 1. Due to this, there is a possibility of snowfall and rain in the hilly areas. Due to the effect of these disturbances, the temperature will drop in other areas including Delhi-NCR.</p>
<h3><strong>Rain and cold wave alert</strong></h3>
<p>Delhi and NCR region may receive heavy rainfall between January 29 and February 1. During this period, the temperature will drop, which will increase the cold even more. Apart from Delhi, there are chances of rain in Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh. However, despite light sunshine during the day, the effect of cold will bother people. By this weekend, the cold is likely to increase in Delhi and surrounding areas.</p>
<h3><strong>Fog and cold wave wreak havoc in these states</strong></h3>
<p>The Meteorological Department has warned that cold wave will continue in parts of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan till February 2. Apart from this, dense fog may occur in the morning and evening in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Odisha, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Assam and Meghalaya till January 31, which may reduce visibility and cause problems in traffic.</p>
<h3><strong>Effect of heavy rain in these states</strong></h3>
<p>According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains may occur in Punjab, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka between January 30 and February 1. Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh are also expected to receive snowfall along with rain between January 29 and February 1, which will further increase the cold in the mountainous areas.</p>

At the same time, alert of hot strong winds and heatwave has been issued in many areas of North India including Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, a heatwave warning has been issued in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab, Haryana, New Delhi, Odisha, Jharkhand, while hot strong winds will blow in Chhattisgarh including Madhya Pradesh.</p>
<p><strong>The scorching heat continues for 3 days</strong></p>

<p><strong><span>Heavy rain warning in western Uttar Pradesh</span></strong></p>

<p><strong><span>Cyclone Biparjoy warned to reach Gujarat by June 15</span></strong></p>

<p><span>Army, Navy including Air Force and Coast Guard have been deployed. Heavy rain warning has been issued in Gujarat. Due to rain, rain conditions are also being created in many areas. At the same time, forecast of heavy rain and storm has been expressed in many areas of Maharashtra. The rains will continue in Goa as well.</span></p>
<p><strong><span>Rain in southern states</span></strong></p>
<p><span>Talking about the southern states, a rain warning has been issued in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu. Apart from this, orange alert for rain has also been issued in the interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Let us tell you that the monsoon has entered entire areas of Tamil Nadu including Kerala. Along with this, heavy rain is being seen.</span></p>
<p><strong><span>Rain in eastern states</span></strong></p>
<p><span>Heavy rain warning has also been issued in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh. People have been advised to be alert for landslides. A drop in temperature will be seen. The temperature can drop to 25 degree Celsius. At the same time, a drop in the minimum temperature will also be recorded. According to the Meteorological Department, this round is going to continue this week.</span></p>
<p><strong><span>Heat wave in these states</span></strong></p>
<p><span>Train conditions will remain for the next 5 days in Uttar Pradesh and East including Uttar Pradesh regions by the Meteorological Department. Changes will be seen in the weather from 18th. The maximum temperature can reach 40 to 42 degree Celsius. A forecast of minimum temperature reaching 30 degree Celsius has been issued. Heatwave conditions have developed in some areas.</span></p>
<p><span>Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh including Andhra, Odisha, Chhattisgarh will also see significant changes in the weather, while the possibility of rain has been ruled out in Himachal. The possibility of rain in Jammu Kashmir, Leh, Ladakh Gilgit, Muzaffarabad was also ruled out due to non-active Western Disturbance. However, a forecast has been issued for the impact of the cyclonic storm on Rajasthan, Gujarat and areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan.</span></p>

<p>Heatwave conditions are prevailing in many states including Bihar-Jharkhand, due to which people are facing difficulties. However, where it is hot in North India, the period of rain continues in the states of South India. The Meteorological Department has issued warnings of rain, lightning, thunderstorms, etc. in many states for the next five days.</p>
<p>According to the Meteorological Department, there will be light to moderate rains in Kerala, Lakshadweep, South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh for the next five days. Apart from this, an alert has been issued for light to moderate rain in the western Himalayan region for the next five days and in northwest India on June 4 and 5. Heavy rains will occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar on June 4 and 5.</p>
<p>Talking about the temperature of the previous day, the maximum temperature in the states of Central, East and North India has been recorded between 40-43 degrees. Severe heatwave conditions prevailed over East Bihar, Sub Himalayas, West Bengal, Sikkim. The maximum temperature will increase by three to five degrees over northwest India during the next five days. Heatwave will continue in some areas of Bihar from June 4 to 8.</p>
