<p>There is a possibility of rain at many places in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in the next 6-7 days.</p>
<h3><strong>Heavy rain expected in Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar</strong></h3>
<p>Heavy rains are expected at many places in Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal between 23 and 26 August. Heavy rains may also occur at some places in Vidarbha on 27 and 28 August. Very heavy rains are forecast in parts of West Madhya Pradesh and Bihar on 23 August . Apart from this, there is also a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning along with light to moderate rains at many places in this entire region for the next 5 days.</p>
<h3><strong>Apart from Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, there will be heavy rain here</strong></h3>
<p>Extremely heavy rain is expected in eastern Rajasthan on August 23. Rain is expected at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Heavy rain may occur at some places in Haryana from 23 to 27 August, Uttar Pradesh from 23 to 25 August and Punjab from 23 to 26 August. Heavy rain is also expected in Jammu and Kashmir on 23 and 24 August.</p>
<h3><strong>Heavy to very heavy rains expected again in Gujarat</strong></h3>
<p>Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in North Gujarat till August 23. After this,<br />
a new round of heavy to very heavy rains may start again in Gujarat from August 25. Heavy rains are expected in Konkan on August 25 and in Madhya Maharashtra on August 26. At the same time, there may be very heavy rains in Konkan and Goa between August 26 and 28, while on August 27 and 28, very heavy rains may occur in the ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra.</p>
<p>Strong winds at a speed of 40 to 50 kmph are likely over the coastal areas of Gujarat in the next 5 days and over the coastal areas of Maharashtra on August 25 and 26. Arunachal Pradesh may also receive heavy rains at some places from 23 to 25 August . Apart from this, there is also a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning along with light to moderate rains in many parts of these states in the next 2 days.</p>
<h3><strong>Possibility of rain in Tamil Nadu and Telangana</strong></h3>
<p>According to the department, heavy rains are expected at many places in coastal Karnataka and Kerala between August 26 and 28. Coastal Andhra Pradesh may also receive heavy rains at some places on August 26 and 27. Apart from this, light to moderate rains are expected in Tamil Nadu and Telangana on August 23.</p>

<p>More than 4 lakh population of 16 districts of the state are in the grip of floods. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted good rainfall in the state for the next 4 days. Along with this, a warning of heavy rain and thunderstorm has been issued in many districts of Terai and Purvanchal.</p>
<p>According to the Meteorological Department, good rain can be seen in the Terai areas of the state on Monday. Apart from this, warning of thunderstorm along with rain has been issued in Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi as well as Gorakhpur, Basti, Kushinagar, Siddharthnagar etc. The Meteorological Department has predicted that there may be heavy to very heavy rain in these districts. Also, people have been asked to remain alert.</p>

<p>According to the weather department&#8217;s forecast, there is a possibility of good rain in Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Kabir Nagar, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti and surrounding areas on Monday. At the same time, lightning warning has been issued in Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Mirzapur, Varanasi along with Gorakhpur, Basti, Kushinagar etc. districts, it is worth noting that the rain warning will also increase difficulties in flood-affected areas. The situation is likely to worsen especially in Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Kushinagar, Gonda, Balrampur and Shravasti.</p>

<p><strong>There will be heavy rain here</strong></p>
<p>The weather department has said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh till July 15, eastern Uttar Pradesh till July 14, West Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, northern Haryana on July 12, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu till July 13, eastern Rajasthan on July 15, Vidarbha from 13 to 15 July. Here, there may be heavy rain in Bihar till July 14.</p>
<p>The IMD&#8217;s Mumbai centre has forecast cloudy skies with moderate rains in the city and suburbs and heavy rains at isolated places in the next 24 hours. The official said that the Arabian Sea had a high wave of 4.04 metres at 3.40 am on Wednesday.</p>

<p><strong>It may rain in these areas</strong><br />
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain in many areas including North-Eastern states, West Bengal, Bihar and Odisha. There are also chances of lightning, strong winds, light thunder and light rain in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.</p>
<p><strong>Damage due to heavy rain in Manipur</strong><br />
According to IMD, there may be heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh today. Whereas in Manipur, rain has disrupted life. Many houses were damaged and many vehicles were also damaged due to hailstorm accompanied by heavy rain in many parts of Manipur on Sunday. The official said many houses were damaged in different parts of the state, including Kanchipur and Tera in Imphal West.</p>
<p><strong>Alert till Tuesday in Manipur</strong><br />
Hail has created holes on tin roofs and due to strong winds, mud huts have been blown away in various areas. Due to hailstorm in many areas, thick white sheets were spread. Due to hailstorm, there were cracks in the glasses of four-wheelers parked in the open. Due to strong winds, trees were also uprooted in many areas. An official said that the damage is being assessed. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of heavy to very heavy rain in many northeastern states including Manipur till Tuesday.</p>
<p><strong>Weather expected to be clear in Delhi today</strong><br />
The maximum temperature recorded in Delhi on Sunday was 41.1 degrees Celsius, which is two degrees more than the normal temperature of this season. According to the Meteorological Department, this was the highest temperature recorded so far this summer in the national capital. Earlier on April 27, the maximum temperature was recorded at 40.5 degrees Celsius.</p>
<p>IMD has predicted clear sky in Delhi on Monday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 41 and 24 degrees Celsius respectively.</p>

<p><strong>Today&#8217;s Weather</strong>: The scorching heat has started showing its true form in the plains. The scorching and stinging sun has started troubling people since morning. Heat wave has already started appearing in many states including Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Meanwhile,</p>
<p>the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of severe heat in the coming days. According to IMD information, heat wave warning has been issued in Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra and West Bengal. Today, the heat wave will continue in Delhi NCR also.</p>
<p>According to the information from Skymet Weather website, there is a possibility of rain along with thunderstorm in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan between April 18 and 21. There is a possibility of rain in Western Himalayas and Arunachal Pradesh also.</p>
<p><strong>Weather will change in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. </strong><br />
There is a possibility of rain with hailstorm in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan on April 18. Apart from this, there may be rain along with storm in Delhi and Haryana also. At the same time, light to moderate rain may occur in North-West India from 18 to 21 April.</p>
<p><strong>Possibility of rain amid rising temperatures</strong><br />
Indian Meteorological Department i.e. IMD has issued an alert of severe heat in Delhi-NCR in the coming days. According to the information, there is a possibility of scorching heat wave in Delhi and its surrounding areas and the temperature reaching beyond 40 degrees. IMD said that light to moderate rain may be seen in Delhi on April 13, which may provide some relief from the heat.</p>
<p><strong>People will be troubled by the severe heat wave.</strong><br />
Due to rising temperatures, the Indian Meteorological Department has informed that in the coming few days, there will be severe heat wave in Tamil Nadu and Telangana including Karnataka due to increase in temperature. Apart from this, there will be severe heat in Gujarat including Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry and Kerala. According to IMD information, there is a possibility of severe heat wave due to rising temperatures in some parts of Eastern and Peninsular India.</p>
<p><strong>Rising Temperature</strong><br />
: Summer has started showing its true form in most of the states of the country. The Meteorological Department has recorded temperatures exceeding 40 degrees in many states. Indian Meteorological Department i.e. IMD has also issued an alert of severe heat wave due to rising temperature. According to Indian weather information, the temperature will increase rapidly from April to June and heat will show its true form. From this month itself, IMD has predicted a heat wave in most parts of the South Peninsula, Central India, Eastern India and the plains of North-West India.</p>
