Jodhpur Divisional Railway Manager Anurag Tripathi informed that track repair work is going on between Rajkiyawas and Luni-Marwar Junction railway stations. A traffic block has been taken for this, due to which the operation of trains on the regular route will be temporarily disrupted. Due to this, Jaisalmer-Kathgodam Ranikhet Express will run via the diverted route of Merta Road instead of Marwar Junction in the next five days.

Due to track renewal work on the Luni-Marwar railway section of the division , Jaisalmer-Kathgodam Ranikhet Express will run on the diverted route of Merta Road on 16, 19, 21, 23 and 26 June. While running from Jaisalmer, it will bediverted.

, the train will stop at Merta Road, Degana, Makrana and Kuchaman City stations. Passengers are requested to get information about the destination station before the journey, so that there is no inconvenience. The railway administration has issued necessary instructions for the convenience of the passengers and has also assured to ensure alternative arrangements during the journey.

DRM Tripathi has appealed to the passengers to get the relevant date and station information from the official website of the railways or the enquiry centre before travelling, so that there is no inconvenience. He said that this change has been made temporarily for the safety of passengers and better rail facilities.

The routes of trains going from Barmer to Delhi have been changed. In the last week of July, the operation of some trains running between Barmer-Delhi railway stations will be affected. Barmer-Jammutvi Shalimar Express, Howrah-Barmer Superfast, Delhi-Barmer Malani Express and Jaisalmer-Delhi-Runicha Express will run on new routes.

Route changed due to interlocking work

According to Anurag Tripathi, DRM of Jodhpur division of North Western Railway, electric interlocking work is being done at Delhi Sarai Rohilla railway station of Delhi division, due to which the operation of trains between Barmer and Delhi will be affected in the last week of July. Barmer-Jammutvi Shalimar Express, Howrah-Barmer Superfast, Jaisalmer-Delhi Runicha Express and Delhi-Barmer Malani Express will run on new routes.

Changed route of these trains

Train number 12323 Howrah-Barmer Superfast will depart from Howrah on 22 and 25 July and the changed route will run via Delhi-Delhi Kesarganj-Dayabasti-Patel Nagar. Train number 14088 Jaisalmer-Delhi Runicha Express will depart from Delhi on 26 and 27 July and the changed route will run via Patel Nagar-Dayabasti-Delhi Kesarganj-Delhi.

Similarly, train number 14661 Barmer-Jammutvi Shalimar Express will depart from Jammu Tawi from 21st to 28th July and the diverted route will operate via Patel Nagar-Delhi Kesarganj-Dayabasti-Delhi, while train number 14662 Jammu Tawi-Barmer Shalimar Express will depart from Jammu Tawi on 26th and 27th July and the diverted route will operate via Delhi-Delhi Kesarganj-Dayabasti-Patel Nagar.

Get information from the railways before traveling

Train number 20488 Delhi-Barmer Malani Superfast will depart from Delhi on 22 July and the diverted route will run via Delhi-Delhi Kesarganj-Dayabasti-Patelnagar. In such a situation, passengers traveling to Delhi in the coming days can get information by visiting the official website of the railways.
