This train journey which will start under the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project will provide a world-class travel experience. This will be the third Vande Bharat train of this region to be operated by the Northern Railway Zone. Earlier, two Vande Bharat trains run from Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (SVDK).

Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat: Fare, Travel Time and Route

Route and launch details The ultra-modern train is painted in orange and grey colour. The train will run between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Srinagar. Commercial services are expected to begin in February 2025. According to a report in Economic Times, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to flag off the first train in the first week of February. The date and time have not been decided by the Railway Board yet.

Train Timings

With the launch of Vande Bharat Express, a new travel experience is expected in Kashmir. The journey will be great with the modern facilities available in the train and less travel time. This train will cover a distance of 150 km in just two and a half hours. Check train schedule:

Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express Fare: Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat Ticket Price
The final fare of Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express has not been announced yet. The fare of AC chair car is expected to be Rs 1500 to 1600 and the ticket of executive chair car is expected to be Rs 2200-2500. The journey in the valleys of Kashmir with this luxury train is expected to be beautiful.

Work on the fourth phase of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, which connects Dehradun to the Rajaji National Park, is nearing completion, media reports have claimed. If everything goes as planned, the work will be completed by June and the 12-km-long elevated portion of the road will be operational by July.

This expressway will be Asia’s longest wildlife corridor. For which a 12 km long elevated flyover is currently being constructed.

According to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), the project will be completed by June 30. This expressway will connect Delhi to Dehradun via Saharanpur, Baghpat, Baraut and Shamli. The number of lanes in the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is six, which can be increased to eight.

Delhi-Dehradun Expressway Travel Time

With the construction of this expressway, the travel time will be reduced from 6.5 hours to 2.5 hours and the distance will be reduced from 235 km to 213 km.

Delhi-Dehradun Expressway Cost

Although a part of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is expected to become operational in July this year, the construction of the entire highway is scheduled to be completed in May 2025. Media reports say that the project is likely to cost around Rs 13,000 crore.

This many passengers will travel daily

After the expressway opens, officials expect the number of vehicles using this route to increase to 20,000 to 30,000 daily.
