A new outbreak of the Nipah virus in West Bengal has put several countries on high alert. First, you should know that this virus is very dangerous and has no cure. This means they can act fast to isolate anyone who might be sick.

What is the Nipah Virus?

Basically, this virus jumps from animals to humans. For instance, fruit bats and pigs are the most common carriers. In addition, you can catch it by eating food that has bat saliva on it.
