Railways is now preparing to provide only confirmed tickets to the passengers.

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave many important information while answering questions related to railways in Parliament. The Railway Minister said that keeping in mind the convenience of passengers in trains, tickets will be issued according to the seats. That is, as many tickets as there are seats will be sold. So that passengers traveling with confirmed seats in the train do not have to face inconvenience due to passengers with waiting tickets.

This much fine for travelling without ticket

If you are caught travelling without ticket in Indian Railways, you will have to pay a fine. If you do not have money or you refuse to pay the fine, then in such a situation the passenger will be handed over to RPF. Along with this, a case is registered under section 137 of the Railway Act. RPF presents these passengers in front of the registrar. In such a case, a fine of Rs 1000 is imposed on them. If the fine is not paid, there can also be a jail term of 6 months.

Special focus on safety

Ashwini Vaishnav told the Lok Sabha that the railways focus more on safety. He said that many technical changes have been made for this, which include longer rails, electronic interlocking, fog safety devices and many other big steps. He said that India has become a big exporter of railways.

Apart from metro coaches to Australia, our country exports rail coaches to the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and France. Apart from this, operational equipment is being exported to Mexico, Spain, Germany and Italy.

Ashwini Vaishnav said that soon Bihar’s locomotive and wheels made in Tamil Nadu will run around the world. It is worth noting that if the railways strictly follows this rule, then train passengers will get a comfortable journey. However, there may be more problems in getting train tickets.

Ashwini Vaishnav appreciated the modern and advanced technology used in Amrit Bharat trains. He told that Amrit Bharat train is based on Push-Pull Technology. This train of new India is ready. The first Amrit Bharat Express train will run from Ayodhya in UP to Darbhanga in Bihar and the second from Bengaluru to Malda. PM Modi will also flag off 5 new Vande Bharat trains.

Equipped with push-pull technology like Vande Bharat

Ashwini Vaishnav told that Amrit Bharat train has push-pull technology. In this, one engine pulls forward and the other pushes from behind. Therefore the train picks up speed quickly. This saves a lot of time in the turns, bridges and stations on the route. In this train you will feel less shocks and the train will remain stable. Due to the design of train toilets, water is also used less. This train will run at a maximum speed of 130 km per hour. Their fare will be only about 10 percent more than normal trains.

Amrit Bharat Express built under Make in India program

He told that two of the world’s most special technologies have been used in Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat Express. Both the technologies are made in India under the Make in India program. The Railway Minister said that the first two Amrit Bharat Express trains are non-air conditioners. These also have cushions installed in the luggage berth for passengers. Charging points and a special ramp have been designed on every seat, with the help of which wheelchairs can be easily entered into the coach.

Non AC Amrit Bharat Express will have 22 coaches

All the facilities in Amrit Bharat will be the same as in Vande Bharat train. This train will have a total of 22 coaches including 8 general second class coaches, 12 second class 3-tier sleeper coaches and 2 guard compartments. This train will also have CCTV cameras, modern toilets, sensor water taps and announcement system. A total of 1800 passengers will be able to travel in this train. Amrit Bharat trains are manufactured at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai.

5 new Vande Bharat trains including Vaishno Devi will also start

On December 30, PM Modi will dedicate 2 Amrit Bharat Express trains as well as 5 Vande Bharat trains to the country. These include Ayodhya-Anand Vihar, New Delhi-Vaishno Devi, Amritsar-New Delhi, Jalna-Mumbai and Coimbatore-Bangalore Vande Bharat.

9 Vande Bharats were launched simultaneously in September.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (September 24) flagged off 9 new Vande Bharat trains simultaneously through video conferencing. These trains were launched for Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar, West Bengal, Kerala, Odisha, Jharkhand and Gujarat.
