Visa-Free Entry – Philippines has recently decided to give visa-free entry to Indian passport holders. In return, India has also given free e-visa facility to tourists from Philippines. With Philippines giving visa-free entry to Indians, the number of countries giving visa-free entry to Indians has increased to 30.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that the Philippines has allowed visa-free entry for Indians for 14 days. This step will further strengthen tourism exchange, commercial relations and people-to-people contact.

Visa free entry means that you are allowed to enter certain countries without a visa. This means that you do not need to apply for a visa to enter that country, just have a valid passport. Traveling becomes easier, as you do not have to go through the long process of applying for a visa.

According to the Henley Passport Report 2025, 30 countries provide visa-free entry to Indian passport holders. This list also includes countries like Thailand, Macau, Mauritius and Senegal, which are famous for tourism all over the world.

Countries like Angola, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Rwanda and Senegal in the African continent are open for Indian travellers. Here you get a unique blend of natural beauty, wildlife safari and cultural experience, which is like a paradise for adventure travel lovers.

The Caribbean and Oceania region is also very attractive for Indian tourists. Island countries like Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Haiti, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Cook Islands, Niue, Vanuatu, and Micronesia are famous for their beautiful beaches, clear blue waters and colorful culture. The opportunity to spend a visa-free holiday in these places is a golden opportunity for travelers.

There are many countries in Asia where Indians can travel without a visa. Bhutan and Nepal are especially convenient as they are neighboring countries, while tourist hotspots like Malaysia, Thailand, Macau, Philippines and Philippines let you enjoy both modernity and natural beauty.

Kazakhstan and Iran in the Central Asia and Eurasia region offer open access to Indian travellers. Kazakhstan’s vast grasslands and historic Silk Route cities, and Iran’s rich culture, architecture and hospitality offer a wonderful experience to travellers.

Whether you’re looking for a beach vacation, an adventure in the mountains, or a historical and cultural experience, traveling to these countries is now a breeze. Stop worrying about the visa process and start planning your trip around the world.

The post Visa-Free Entry: 30 Countries You Can Visit Without a Visa – Pack Your Bag & Go! first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

Visa-free entry has been made available to foreign nationals in many countries of the world. Through this, you can travel to any country without a visa, just with the help of a passport.

Traveling to any country without a visa is certainly a different kind of pleasure that anyone would like to enjoy. With all the cumbersome paperwork and long waiting lists, the tedious visa process can spoil an otherwise pleasant experience. However, the privilege of traveling to a country without a visa depends on how strong your passport is.

According to the Henley Passport Index, India’s passport rank has dropped to 85 in 2025, giving Indian citizens limited visa-free access to countries around the world. India’s ranking in 2024 was 80. Indian citizens may need to obtain a visa to travel to popular destinations like Europe, the United States or the United Kingdom. However, Indians can travel to 58 countries without a visa. These countries include some of the most popular countries like Indonesia and Mauritius. The list also includes some lesser-known countries that offer a lot to explore. These include Laos, Fiji, Madagascar and many more.

This list also includes several African countries, which are ideal for connecting with nature and exploring wildlife. Places like Kenya and Zimbabwe in Africa are known for their diverse and rich wildlife. These countries are available for visa-free travel for Indians.

Applying for a visa, interview, then waiting for the visa to be approved, becomes a very long process.

Due to this many people get upset, but do you know that if you have an Indian passport, you can get visa-free entry to a total of 57 countries (visa-free travel benefits). Yes, according to the Henley Passport Power Index, India is ranked 122nd (Indian passport Ranking) and an Indian passport can provide visa-free entry to 57 countries.
Let us know which are the countries where you will not need a visa to go with an Indian passport.

What does visa-free travel mean?

In this episode, it has recently announced to allow citizens of 9 more countries to enter the country without visa.

According to a report, from November 30, 2024, travelers from Bulgaria, Romania, Malta, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Estonia, Latvia and Japan will be able to reach China without visa. After this order of the Chinese government, the number of countries for visa-free travel will increase to 38. Before the Covid epidemic, only three countries in the world had such facility in China. That too was stopped after the spread of the corona virus.

Now the maximum time limit for stay will be 30 days.

The report quoted Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian as saying that the maximum time limit for staying in China without visa has also been increased from 15 days to 30 days. These steps are being seen in the context of China’s efforts to boost tourism revenue and bring its struggling economy back on track. Travel restrictions imposed during the Covid pandemic were lifted much later in China than in many other countries. Gradually, China has started restoring visa-free travel from pre-Covid countries.

In July 2023, China restored visa-free travel for Brunei and Singapore. After this, from December 1, 2023, China also extended this facility to citizens of six more countries – Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia.

49 lakh people travelled visa-free this year

According to the data of the Consular Service of the Ministry of External Affairs, between July and September this year, out of 82 lakh foreigners, 49 lakh entered China without a visa. Given its popularity, China seems to be expanding this facility in several phases. The other side of this is that during this time some countries like Thailand have also provided visa-free travel to Chinese citizens. Such countries want that like before the Corona epidemic, many Chinese tourists should come to their country and spend money there and help in the growth of their tourism sector.

Visa Free from 1 October : Sri Lanka has given great news for Indian travelers. From October 1, 2024, citizens of 35 countries including India will get visa-free entry in Sri Lanka.

Earlier on August 2, 2024, the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka had banned the e-visa service being offered by IVS-GBS and VFS Global. After which Indians were given the option of visa-on-arrival instead of the option of e-visa. Now from October 1, Indian travelers will be able to enter without visa.

Countries that benefit from visa-free travel

Apart from India, citizens of the UK, US, China, Germany, Australia and many other countries will be able to avail this visa-free travel facility. The list includes the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, UAE, Nepal, Russia, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, France, Canada, Italy, and many other countries.

What does visa-free travel mean?

Visa-free travel means that travelers will not need to obtain a visa in advance to enter the country. This simplifies the process and also saves visa fees. Usually you just need a valid passport.

Efforts to attract Indian travellers

Indians accounted for 20% of the total tourists in Sri Lanka in 2023. This visa-free policy is expected to further increase the number of Indian travelers to Sri Lanka. In October 2023 also, Sri Lanka waived visa fees for 7 countries including India, which was extended till 31 May 2024. In 2024, Sri Lanka welcomed 2,46,922 Indian tourists, while 1,23,992 tourists came from the UK. This policy of visa-free travel is considered an important step for Sri Lanka’s tourism economy. However, in the first six months of 2024, Sri Lanka earned $ 1.5 billion from tourism, up from $ 875 million in the same period in 2023.

Visa-free travel conditions

Here are the conditions for visa-free travel:

Valid Passport

Period of travel

Proof of return or onward journey

Proof of sufficient funds to cover travel expenses

Proof of stay

Travel/Medical Insurance

criminal record check

The Serbian government said in its decision that visa free entry for all Indians in Serbia was stopped for 30 days. Visa free entry was introduced in September 2017. However, Indian nationals who are traveling without visa in Serbia are allowed up to 30 days. After this it will be mandatory to give visa.

This rule has come into force on the new year and now no Indian citizen can travel without a visa in this country.

After this announcement by Serbia, the Indian Embassy in Belgrade and Serbia issued an advisory regarding the change in visa rules. It was said in the advisory that if anyone wants to travel to Serbia after January 1, he will have to apply for a visa from the Delhi embassy or his place of residence. Travel will be permitted only on valid visa.

These people can still travel visa free
