Mausam News: The weather is changing rapidly in many states of India. In some places, scorching heat is bothering people, while in some places heavy rain has issued an alert.

Giving the latest information, Dr. Naresh Kumar, Senior Scientist of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), said that there is no hope of relief from the heat in northwestern India at present. The heat wave will continue in the coming days.

According to Dr. Naresh Kumar, the heat wave will continue in Rajasthan for the next 4-5 days. Heat wave conditions may also develop in some parts of Punjab and Haryana. The temperature in Ganganagar, Rajasthan has reached 45 degrees Celsius. According to him, the heat wave that has been going on in northwest India for some time is not likely to subside now. Because in the coming days, no significant impact of the western disturbance will be seen.

According to the Meteorological Department, a special warning has been issued for eastern Uttar Pradesh where there is an alert of hot winds as well as hot nights. Similarly, a heat wave may start in Madhya Pradesh after 1-2 days.

Rains in South and North-East India

Heavy rains are lashing Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Orange and red alerts have been issued for these states. Wind speed may exceed 50 kmph. Heavy rains are likely to occur in North-East India for the next 5 days. Continuous rains will continue in Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh, due to which flood-like situation may arise.

Impact of dusty winds in Delhi-NCR

Recently, dusty winds and foggy conditions have prevailed in Delhi-NCR. According to Dr. Kumar, this situation was caused by a pressure gradient. Due to excessive heat, the pressure in Rajasthan is low, while the pressure in the surrounding states is high. Due to this, the dusty winds reached the NCR.

Light rain likely in Central India

Thunderstorms and light rain are likely to occur in some parts of Central India in the next few days. However, these activities will not be very widespread. Dr. Naresh Kumar said that heat wave conditions will continue in Rajasthan for the next four-five days. Heat wave has also been predicted in some parts of Punjab and Haryana. Temperatures have reached 45 degrees Celsius in areas like Ganganagar in Rajasthan. The weather will also remain clear in Central India. But heat wave may start in Madhya Pradesh after a day or two. A special warning has been issued for East Uttar Pradesh. Where along with heat wave, there is also a warning for hot nights.

Meteorological Department ‘s advice: The Meteorological Department has advised people in all affected areas to remain alert.

To avoid heat:

Drink plenty of water.

Wear light and loose clothing.

Avoid going out in the afternoon.

For areas with rain and strong winds:

Make arrangements to prevent flooding and waterlogging.

Stay away from power poles and trees.

Chandigarh: This summer season is going to witness record-breaking heat in Punjab and Haryana. After April 5, the southern region of Punjab including Haryana will witness the heat wave.

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will increase further in the next two-three days and will go above 40.

Giving information, Surinder Pal said that at present the temperature in Punjab-Haryana including Chandigarh is 30 to 35 degrees but it will increase after 5th and 6th April, especially in Ferozepur, Gurdaspur and all the surrounding areas of Punjab, the wrath of heat wave will be seen. Along with this, if we talk about Haryana, then there will be a heat wave in the surrounding areas of Sirsa, Fatehabad, Mahindergarh.

Director Surinder Pal said that the main reason for the heatwave is that there is no possibility of rain and the entire environment is cloudless. There is no western disturbance here and neither has there been much rain in the last few days. He said that there is no possibility of rain in the coming days either. He said that last time too, there was a lot of heat in 2024. In such a situation, this year too the heat can break its record. It is worth mentioning that last year there was a record-breaking heat in Haryana and the mercury reached 48 degrees.

37 degrees mercury in Haryana

On Wednesday, the mercury was recorded around 35 degrees in many areas of Haryana. The highest temperature was recorded in Bhiwani at 37.2 degrees. Similarly, the maximum temperature in Chandigarh was 34.5, in Sirsa and Faridabad 36 degrees, in Gurugram 34.8, in Nornaul 36 and in Rohtak 37 degrees. Now AC, coolers and fans have started working across the state.

Weather Update: The month of March is proving to be a difficult one for many states including Delhi. The plains of North India received rains the previous day, but the weather has remained dry since then.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather conditions will remain similar till the end of the month. Due to clouds and lack of rain, the temperature is continuously increasing. Especially in the next three days, the temperature is likely to increase further.

According to the Meteorological Department, a western disturbance is reaching the mountains, but its impact will be limited to the upper areas of Jammu and Kashmir. Its impact will not be much visible in the plains. However, due to the change in wind direction, the temperature will increase and the mercury will continue to rise till the middle of the week, but then there may be a slight drop in the temperature towards the end.

Rainfall is likely in these states

due to the influence of Western Disturbance, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh and upper parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from this, light to moderate rain is also possible in coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep and interior Tamil Nadu. Light rain is likely in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Northeast India.
