According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, in the coming 24 hours, the effect of rain, storm and hailstorm will be seen in more than 37 districts of the state. People will get relief from hot nights and afternoon heat. At present, they will not have to face severe heat for 84 hours. The Meteorological Department has instructed people not to go out of the house unnecessarily and to remain alert.

In the last 24 hours, strong winds and hailstorms have been observed in many areas of eastern and western Madhya Pradesh. The temperature is still 37 degrees. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in 37 districts of MP. In it, strong wind and lightning alert has been issued in Sehore, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Chhatarpur, Harda, Mandla, Balaghat, Seoni, Chhindwara and Pandhurna.

Apart from this, a red alert has been issued for hailstorm and lightning in Alirajpur, Barwani, Dhar, Ratlam, Jhabua. A warning of lightning along with strong winds has been issued in Ujjain, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Dewas, Narmadapuram, Vidisha, Bhopal, Ashok Nagar, Shivpuri, Guna, Agar Malwa, Shajapur, Sehore, Raisen, Rajgarh.

According to the weather department forecast, light to moderate rain may occur at one or two places in Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Bhabua, Aurangabad, Arwal, Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Nawada, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Jehanabad districts on Saturday. Farmers have been instructed to remain alert.

IMD Alert: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Monday that the low pressure area over northwest Madhya Pradesh and adjoining eastern Rajasthan has turned into a high pressure area, due to which heavy to very heavy rainfall is forecast in both the states as well as some parts of Gujarat, Goa and Maharashtra in the next two-three days.

According to the IMD, the center of high pressure was 70 km south-southeast of Chittorgarh in Rajasthan at 11:30 pm on August 25. In an update released at 2 am, the IMD said that this pressure is likely to move west-southwest, affect southern Rajasthan and Gujarat and reach Saurashtra, Kutch and some parts of Pakistan by August 29.

According to the IMD, a low pressure area is also formed over Bangladesh and the Gangetic plains of adjoining West Bengal. It is likely to intensify further in the next two days and move towards the Gangetic coast of West Bengal, northern Odisha and Jharkhand. IMD issued a ‘red alert’ saying that heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in West Madhya Pradesh on August 26.

It said that similar conditions are expected in eastern and southern Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch of Gujarat from August 26 to 29. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is also forecast in Konkan, Goa, central Maharashtra, Odisha, Gangetic plains of West Bengal and Jharkhand in the next two days. IMD has issued a warning of strong winds at a speed of 50 kmph in Madhya Pradesh on August 26 and 60 kmph in South Rajasthan on August 26-27.

How will the weather be in Delhi today

However, the IMD has issued a warning of torrential rain in Delhi on 27 and 28 August. Along with this, a yellow alert has also been issued. At the same time, the maximum temperature of Delhi today is expected to be 34 degrees and the minimum temperature is 25 degrees.

Rain alert issued in UP today

The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert today in Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Banda, Chitrakoot, Mathura, Agra, Firozabad, Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun etc.

Strong winds are likely to blow at a speed of 55 kmph in Gujarat, adjacent Pakistan, North Maharashtra and northeastern Arabian Sea on August 26 and their speed may increase to 60 kmph on August 27 and 28. The sea condition is likely to remain rough to very rough along the Gujarat, Pakistan and North Maharashtra coasts till August 30.
