According to him, IndiGo has the highest number of women pilots, which are now more than 800.

The company has about 14 percent women pilots, while the global average is seven to nine percent women pilots. He said, we will cross the number of 1,000 women pilots in a year (by August, 2025). The airline, which operates more than 2,000 flights daily, currently has more than 5,000 pilots. On Wednesday, IndiGo inducted 77 women pilots for its Airbus and ATR aircraft to celebrate 77 years of the country’s independence. The airline had 36,860 permanent employees as of March 31, 2024, including 5,038 pilots and 9,363 cabin crew.
