Sarkari Result UP Police Constable: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is expected to release a detailed notification for the recruitment of UP Police Constable (Male and Female) soon.
This year the Uttar Pradesh government will fill a total of 52,699 vacancies. The state government has further claimed that this will be the biggest recruitment in the history of the UP government.
Official confirmation of notification
According to reports, the detailed notification on UP Police Constable Recruitment 2023 was said to be released in July, then it was extended to August. However, now reports say that there may be further delay in releasing the official notification as there is no official confirmation from the board yet. Apart from this, tenders are also reportedly being invited by companies and agencies for conducting the recruitment test.
When will the registration process start
? Whenever the notification is released, candidates can see it on the official website uppbpb.gov.in. Uttar Pradesh Police Notification 2023 will include all the important dates, application fee, eligibility criteria, test pattern, selection process etc. for UP Police Vacancy. After its release, UPPRPB will also start the online registration process.
UP Police Constable Recruitment 2023: Vacancy Details
Out of 52,699 vacancies, UPPRPB will recruit 41,811 constables for civil police wing, around 8,540 for Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), around 1,341 constables for UP Special Security Force (UPSSF) and remaining 1,007 as firemen.
UP Police Constable Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed 12th class from a recognized board in India.
- Candidates must thoroughly review the age limit for the posts before applying as it varies from category to category. UP Police Constable age limit has been revised, the upper age limit is lower for reserved category candidates.
- In the unreserved category, the age limit for men is fixed between 18 to 22 years, while for women it is fixed between 18 to 25 years. The age limit for OBC/ SC/ ST (Male) applicants is 18 to 28 years while for females in the same category the age limit is 18 to 31 years.
