LPG Price: Amidst rising inflation, the first date of November has brought a box of reliefs. Giving relief to the people, the government has reduced the prices of commercial LPG.

  • The new price of 19 kg Indane LPG cylinder is now Rs 1744. Earlier it was Rs 1859.5.
  • Now the price of commercial cylinder in Kolkata will be Rs 1846. Earlier people had to pay Rs 1995.50.
  • In Mumbai, earlier people used to buy commercial cylinders in 1844, but now they will have to pay Rs 1696.

Domestic cylinder is available for Rs 1053 in Delhi, 1079 in Kolkata, 1068.5 in Chennai and Rs 1052 in Mumbai. Gas companies of India cut the prices of gas cylinders on the first of every month. Commercial cylinders are used in hotels, food shops. This will give a big relief to the traders. This is the sixth consecutive month when the prices of commercial gas have been reduced. Let us inform that on October 1, the prices of commercial gas cylinders were cut by Rs 25.5.

According to a PTI report, fuel sales in India increased in the first half of October due to a pick-up in economic activity due to the festive season. The report said that the sales of petrol and diesel have increased by 22-26 per cent year-on-year (YoY), while there has also been a month-on-month increase in the first half of October 2022. Petrol sales have increased by 22.7 percent to 1.28 million tonnes during October 1 to 15, 2022. Whereas in the same period, 1.05 million tonnes were consumed in the year 2021.
