7th Pay Commission! Shock to government employees, this rule will be applicable from April 1, the government has announced

Karnataka Budget: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that the government is preparing to implement the Seventh Pay Commission, for which Rs 6000 crore has been earmarked.

7th Pay Commission Latest News Today: An announcement is going to be made soon by the central government on increasing the dearness allowance of the employees. It is expected that this dearness allowance, which will be implemented from January 1, will be announced before Holi.

Apart from this, news is coming to give another relief to the government employees. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that the government is preparing to implement the Seventh Pay Commission, for which Rs 6,000 crore has been earmarked. Earlier it was discussed that the government will implement the new rule from January 1.

The rule will be applicable from the new financial year

CM Bommai said that according to the Seventh Pay Commission, the report of change in the salary of the employees will be presented by the committee headed by former Chief Secretary Sudhakar Rao.

After presenting the state budget for the financial year 2023-24, the CM said that the additional amount would be provided in the supplementary budget.
He stressed that the report of the Seventh Pay Commission will be implemented from the new financial year itself. This is a blow for those who were expecting it to be implemented from January 1.

Interest-free loan up to 5 lakh

He said that the committee will present an interim or final report, on which immediate action will be taken by the government. Earlier, in order to make the farmers financially strong, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had increased the limit of interest-free loan given to farmers from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.

Apart from this, provision has been made for need-based loan facility for activities related to agriculture. Bommai said that the government has decided to give an additional subsidy of Rs 10,000 in the year 2023-24 to the ‘Kisan Credit Card’ holders under a new scheme ‘Bhu Shree’.
