Air India Flight: Air India’s flight AI-159 from Ahmedabad to London has been cancelled due to technical fault. This is the same route on which earlier AI-171 flight had met with an accident which has increased the concern of the passengers.
According to the information, AI-159 was to take off from Ahmedabad at 1:10 pm and reach London at 6:25 pm, but due to technical fault, it was cancelled before the flight.
Earlier on Tuesday, a technical fault was found in the engine of flight AI-180 coming from San Francisco to Mumbai. Passengers had to be deboarded due to a fault in the left engine during the scheduled stop at Kolkata airport. The flight had arrived at 12:45 am, but at 5:20 am all the passengers were asked to disembark for security reasons. The pilot informed the passengers that the safety of the flight is of paramount importance, so this decision was taken.
