Axis Bank increased the interest rates of fixed deposits, know the new rates here

Axis Bank FD Rate: Government sector Indian Overseas Bank had increased the rates of fixed deposits and now the news of increasing fixed deposit interest rates has come out from Axis Bank.

After increasing the repo rate by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), now many public and private sector banks are increasing their lending rate. However, FD rates are also being increased by banks.

Recently, the public sector Indian Overseas Bank had increased the fixed deposit rates and now the news of increasing fixed deposit interest rates from Axis Bank has come to the fore. Let us inform that the interest rates which have been changed by Axis Bank have come into effect from September 9 and the bank (Axis Bank FD New Rate) has applied the new fixed deposit rates only on deposits less than Rs 2 crore.

New interest rates on Axis Bank FDs

  • 7-14 days – 2.75%
  • 15-29 days – 2.75%
  • 30-45 days – 3.25%
  • 46-60 days – 3.25%
  • 61 days to 3 months – 3.25%
  • 3-4 months – 3.75%
  • 4-5 months – 3.75%
  • 5-6 months – 3.75%
  • 6-7 months – 4.65%
  • 7-8 months – 4.40%
  • 8-9 months – 4.65%
  • 9-10 months – 4.75%
  • 10-11 months – 4.75%
  • 11-11 months 25 days – 4.75%
  • 11 months 25 days to 1 year – 5.45%
  • 1 year 5 days to 1 year 11 days – 5.45%
  • 1 year 11 days to 1 year 25 days – 5.75%
  • 1 year 25 days to 13 months – 5.60%
  • 13-14 months – 5.60%
  • 14-15 months – 5.60%
  • 15 months to 2 years – 5.60%
  • 2 years to 30 months – 5.70%
  • 30 months to 3 years – 5.70%
  • 3 years to 5 years – 5.70%
  • 5 to 10 years – 5.75%

Let us inform that earlier the Indian Overseas Bank of the public sector had also announced to increase its interest rates. These new rates have come into effect from 13 September i.e. today. Indian Overseas Bank has increased interest rates on FDs of less than Rs 2 crore.

New interest rates of Indian Overseas Bank

  • 7-29 day FD – 3.25%
  • FD of 30-45 days – 3.35%
  • FD of 46-90 days – 3.75%
  • FD of 91-120 days – 4.10%
  • FD of 121-179 days – 4.10%
  • 180-269 day FD – 4.65%
  • 270 days to 1 year FD – 4.65%
  • FD between 1-2 years – 5.50%
