Bank Holiday Alert! RBI has released the bank holiday list for the month of August, here is the full list

Bank Holidays August 2023: If you also have to go to the bank branch in the next month of August, then first definitely see the list of bank holidays. August is full of holidays. All public and private sector banks will remain closed for 14 days in August.

Due to this, it may be difficult for the customers to deal with the work related to the branch as the banks will be open for less days. However, these 14 days holidays include 4 Sundays and 2 Saturdays. However, customers can avail online services such as online banking, internet banking, and services such as Google Pay, Phone Pay, Paytm, etc.

Banks will remain closed for 14 days in August

According to the Reserve Bank of India’s list of holidays, banks will remain closed for a total of 14 days including Saturdays and Sundays in August. There are 4 Sundays in the month of August, while the 2nd and 4th Saturdays are bank holidays. That is, these 6 holidays are fixed in the whole country. Some of these holidays will be applicable to banks across the country, while some will be applicable to states and territories. Banks are open on the first and third Saturday of every month. Some of these bank holidays are of the states and during national holidays all the banks across the country will remain closed.
