Bank Holidays June 2025: The Reserve Bank of India has released the list of holidays for June 2025. There will be no work in banks for 12 days next month. You can see the complete list of holidays here.

A new month i.e. June will begin after four days. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of bank holidays for June 2025. Next month, banks will remain closed for a total of 12 days. These include several regional festivals including Bakrid, Sundays and weekly holidays on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Every year, the Reserve Bank of India prepares a list of holidays for all banks in consultation with the state governments and makes it public on its official website.

All government and private banks across the country remain closed on every Sunday and on the second and fourth Saturday of the month. Apart from this, the RBI has also announced some state-level holidays which will be valid only in the respective states. Therefore, customers are advised that if they want to visit a bank branch to get any urgent work done next month, they should first check the list of holidays to avoid any inconvenience.

Banks in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala will remain closed on Friday, June 6, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid). Along with this, a holiday for Bakrid has been declared across the country on Saturday, June 7. After this, there will be a weekly holiday on Sunday, June 8. Thus, people living in Kerala can get a long weekend of three days.

List of Bank Holidays for June 2025

June 1 (Sunday) – Weekly holiday – Banks will remain closed in all states.

June 6 (Friday) – Eid-ul-Azha (Banks closed in Kerala)

June 7 (Saturday) – Bakrid (Eid-uz-Zuha) – Banks closed across the country

June 8 (Sunday) – Weekly holiday

June 11 (Wednesday) – Sant Guru Kabir Jayanti / Saga Dawa – Banks will remain closed in Himachal Pradesh and Sikkim.

June 14 (Saturday ) – Second Saturday – Banks will remain closed across the country.

June 15 (Sunday) – Weekly holiday

June 22 (Sunday ) – Weekly holiday

June 27 (Friday) – Rath Yatra / Kang – Banks will remain closed in Odisha and Manipur.

June 28 (Saturday) – Fourth Saturday – Banks will remain closed in all states.

June 29 (Sunday ) – Weekly holiday

June 30 (Monday ) – Banks will remain closed in Remna Ni – Mizoram.

What to do when banks are closed?

If the bank is closed, customers can use net banking, mobile banking, UPI and ATM services. Account holders can continue to transact through these digital services. Only cheque clearing and other physical transactions, which come under the Negotiable Instruments Act, will not be possible during the holidays.
