The government has said in the Rajya Sabha that the employees will not get their pending DA Arrear money for 18 months.

Giving information, the government has said that the employees will not be given money in three installments . At present, there is no such provision from the government side. This DA arrear money is from the time of pandemic, during the Korana period the government had stopped DA arrears and DR of pensioners.

Rajya Sabha MP Naran-bhai J Rathwa was asked whether the government will give the employees the money for their DA arrears. Many demands are coming regarding DA arrears of 18 months, but there is no plan to release this money due to adverse financial impact during the Corona period.

Employees union is unhappy with this reaction from the government, the employees union is not happy at all. They say that this money cannot be stopped. The employees have worked even after the DA was not increased during the Corona period. Explain that the government has saved about Rs 34,000 crore due to non-release of dearness allowance during this period.

DA will increase again in the new year, the central government has not yet paid the DA arrears for 18 months between January 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021, and now the government has refused to give this money. At present, the employees are getting DA at the rate of 38 percent and soon in the month of January i.e. in the new year, DA will be increased once again.
