CBSE Marking System: Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE has issued clarification regarding division and distinction. According to CBSE, division, distinction etc. will not be given by CBSE on more than five subjects.

CBSE Marking System: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will not give any division (category), distinction (special ability) in the 10th and 12th board exams. Also, percentage is not calculated by the board.

CBSE Marking System: No division or distinction will be given, the institution will decide the best five.

A senior CBSE official said on Friday that now no division (category) or distinction (special ability) will be given in the class 10th and 12th board examinations.
