Daily Allowance Increase Order: Ranchi: Many major decisions have been taken in the cabinet meeting held yesterday i.e. Thursday under the leadership of Jharkhand state CM Hemant Soren. A total of 17 proposals have been given the green signal in this meeting, which also includes proposals related to daily allowance and liquor.
The Soren government has approved the excise liquor policy. It has been claimed that the new excise policy will be implemented in a month. The state government has said that retail sales will now be in private hands while the command of wholesale sales will be in the hands of the state government. It has been decided in the cabinet meeting that there are a total of 1,453 liquor shops in the state, so all the shops will be allotted through lottery. Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel has shared the information about the decisions taken in the cabinet meeting with the media.
The most important decision in the meeting was taken regarding the NCC cadets of the state. The government has increased their daily allowance. According to the information, the cadets will now be paid Rs 210 instead of Rs 150 per day. Similarly, a proposal to link senior citizens above 70 years of age with the Ayushman Vaya Vandana Yojana has also been agreed upon.

NCC Cadets Daily Allowance Increase Order: Important decisions of Soren Cabinet
- A total amount of Rs 76 crore was allocated for Madhupur Urban Water Supply Scheme.
- An amount of Rs 10 crore was allocated under the World Bank-supported Jharkhand Municipal Development Project.
- Approval was given to regularize the services of retired clerks and provide them with estimable financial benefits.
- The duration of the air service was extended on the basis of nomination for the government programme Udan.
- An amount of Rs 55 crore was approved for the construction work of Badkitand-Teenpalli-Dokidih-Girnia turn road in Giridih.
- Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College of Hazaribagh, Phool-Jhano Medical College of Dumka and
- Approval of the proposal for maintenance of the lift of Medinirai Medical College.
- The Factory Amendment Bill was approved.
- Approval for extension of tenure of distribution agency under supplementary nutrition.
- The new jail manual was approved.
- Fees for vocational education courses have also been fixed.
