In view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the sixth phase of voting will be held on May 25. During this, voting will also be held for seven Lok Sabha seats of Delhi. Voting will be held on 58 seats in 8 states and union territories on May 25.

Meanwhile, keeping in mind the voting in Delhi, Delhi Metro has also completed preparations. That is, Delhi Metro has changed its time table in view of the voting. This has been done so that the employees posted at the polling booth can reach there on time. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation informed through a post that keeping in mind the voting on May 25, metro train services will be started from 4 am, so that the employees posted on duty can take advantage of it and reach their workplace on time.

Change in timing of Delhi Metro

Let us tell you that this rule has been made for all the lines on 25th May. During this time, trains on all the lines of Delhi Metro will run from 4 am to 6 am at an interval of 30 minutes. After this, Metro services will remain normal throughout the day like on other days.

Delhi Metro Rail Administration has appealed to the people to plan their journey on 25th May according to the changed time table. Not only this, keeping in mind the voting in Delhi in view of the Lok Sabha elections, liquor shops will be kept closed for two days. Let us tell you that liquor shops are closed in Delhi since the end of election campaign on the evening of 23rd May.

Let us tell you that all liquor shops within 100 meters of Ghaziabad border will remain closed till the voting is over on 25th May. Let us tell you that keeping in mind the voting on 25th May, a holiday has been announced by the Delhi government. This has been done so that more number of people can vote. At the same time, orders have been given to keep 700 markets of Delhi closed. CTI has appealed to give paid leave to the employees working there on opening the shops. According to the information, almost all the markets of Delhi are going to remain closed on 25th May.
